(More customer reviews)I'm not a huge collector of 7" figures, but this well done line of Classic Trek figures caught my eye (and wallet). All things considered this is the finest mainstream Spock figure that I've seen. The headsculpt likeness is outstanding. For a 7" figure, the articulation is extensive, including a mid-torso joint that hides beneath a matte finish rubber shirt.
The downside of the articulation is that in order to get the arms into a proper rest position you must twist the arm joint so that the molded fabric folds are mismatched. It's a minor quibble, but detracts from the figure's static display.
Two right hands are provided: one for holding the tricorder, the other for the phaser pistol. However only one left hand is provided and it is giving a Vulcan salute. Thus the figure looks silly using any equipment while urging you to "Live Long and Prosper". An alternate left hand would have really been an improvement.
The equipment is nicely detailed and the tricorder features a rubber strap. That may sound cheesy, but it looks and hangs just right - a good design choice by Art Asylum.
Overall this is promising start to the company's Classic Trek line. I hope it sells well enough to bring us more waves in this line.
