Stacey was Barbie's swingin' best friend from London, complete with a wardrobe of colourful, specially-designed Mod fashions! This Gold Label collector's edition (limited to 7,700 pieces worldwide) brings back the Stacey doll along with her "Nite Lightning" fashion ensemble.
Stacey comes dressed in a bright print swimsuit, with her red hair styled into a short flip. Just like the original doll, she has real rooted eyelashes and a Twist 'n' Turn waist. The "Nite Lightning" ensemble consists of a royal blue satin "swing" coat with puffed sleeves and sparkly brooch decoration, and a metallic "shag" dress. Matching blue stockings and low-heeled shoes complete her trendy Mod look. A re-print of an original Barbie fashion booklet from the period is also included, along with the COA and dollstand.

Stacey Nite Lightning Set is a 2005 Mattel production. Model #J0964-0910. Stacey is a Gold Label Barbie Collector Doll with 25,000 or less dolls released Worldwide. There is information on the back of the box as to how Stacey started. Stacey doll is a 1969 Reproduction of a Carol Spencer creation. Included in the box is a Stacey Doll that's approx. 11.5" tall w/strawberry blond hair (reddish), blue eyes with Rooted Eyelashes, pink rouge & pink lipstick. Stacey has a Twist'n Turn Waist, Bendable Legs so you can pose her any way you like! Re-production Stacey Doll comes with royal blue satin evening Coat w/pouff sleeves, a Sparkle & Satin Dress; Dress has pink top, royal blue belt & the Skirt is green, pink, bronze, blue, aqua & silvery aparkly vertical stripes. Also comes with blue sheer nylon stockings & a one piece swim suit type bodysuit, a pair of royal blue Shoes & a hanger. Also included is the striking, stylized illustration from 1969 & a modified Booklet from 1969.
