They are really beutiful, very well finished, nice colors, excellent quality and exactly the same with the ones on the TV. Our daughter loves them, she sleeps with the four of them every night. (More customer reviews)I bought this as a Christmas present for my ten year old niece. She specifically asked for it, and wanted the white kitty. Initially I thought that a stuffed animal was too juvenile for a ten year old but apparantly Hello Kitty is popular with an older set of girls, too. When the toy arrived, it was boxed in its own separate decorated Christmas box from Build-a-Bear. The kitty looks precisely like the cartoon. It was very well-made with stitched eyes and whiskers and a plastic nose. The pink hair bow is attached with velcro ans is removable. It had an extremely soft and satiny "coat" and a soft, huggable body. I was enchanted with kitty myself. When my niece opened her gift, she squealed with delight, which was proof to me that this really was her desired gift. She continues to play with Kitty White. This may the the longest lasting gift of Christmas '09.

We have washed them on the delicate cycle in our washing machine and they have held up well, although the tag indicates "spot clean only". Would reccomend to anyone with a toddler....there are no small parts.

I didn't see the size mentioned anywhere so we really didn't know how big it would be. Other than the 1.1 lbs mentioned. A previous reviewer said it was small though. Again, a nice looking toy. We think she'll like it but could have been bigger.

(More customer reviews)Keep in mind that this is NOT a TY plush. I did not know this upon getting it. However, it's still cute, and sits at about the same height as my other TY hello kitties.
This one is noticeably more fluffy (I prefer the TY brand), and has a bit of trouble sitting, as it's legs dangle, rather than stay in the "sitting position" like the rest of the kitties.
I enjoy it, but it's not TY. It's better than some other versions of non-TY plushes I have seen, though.

The Patrick doll is about a foot tall and is soft. No noises or anything fancy but a great little toy for kids to recognize their favorite tv characters with.

Uniqua is extroverted and confident--but no one seems to be sure what kind of creature she is! She's pink with magenta spots, and is clothed with a spotted jumper outfit. It's sewed on, so the outfit isn't removable. The "buttons" are sewn pieces of cloth, so you don't have to worry about parts that could choke little ones.
From a distance, the Ty Backyardigan beanie babies may look like they're made of rough, itchy fabric--but they are not. The fabric is soft and smooth--somewhat like chenille.
If your child loves the Backyardigans, enjoys fantasy play (like tea parties or role playing), or perhaps needs a friend to keep him/her company at bedtime--Uniqua would make a wonderful present!

Ty Beanie Baby Skipper Madagascar Review

(More customer reviews)The Penguins of Madagascar is my 5-year-old son's favorite tv show (my husband's too...he loves King Julien.) We watch the show all the time and I've been searching for as many Penguins of Madagascar toys as I can find. I haven't been so lucky but we at least bought this Skipper Beanie Baby. My son loves it but wants all of the characters (and has said that if they don't make the other penguins then he wants 3 more of the Skippers so he can just pretend he has all 4 characters!) We want more Penguins of Madagascar toys. By the time they come out, my son will have moved on to the next newest show.
If you're a fan of the Penguins show (or of the penguins in the Madagascar movie) then this Skipper Beanie Baby won't disappoint you. "Cute and cuddly, boys."
