(More customer reviews)If you've seen the movie, you know what I mean--that little monkey tugged at your heartstrings and captured the imaginations of everyone I talked to about the film. No surprise someone had to make one as a toy! And yes--I had to add it to the 'zoo' around here.
This toy is high in 'cuddle value' but I'm not so sure I'd give it to a very young child--maybe a pre-teen or an adult with a monkey fetish like me. I'm concerned with the tassle 'hat' coming apart and being eaten. Otherwise, the sock monkey should be pretty durable and easy to take care of.

Leonardo Puppet Review

(More customer reviews)This item is sold as a puppet and has a label on his hand proudly proclaiming, "I am a puppet!" but the only opening for your hand is sort of a flat pocket up the top half of the back of his scalp. You cannot manipulate his mouth, tongue, horns, nose, arms, legs or tail. I'm not quite sure what benefits a scalp pocket has over just moving his head with your hand. It is a very accurate depiction of Leonardo (the color of his fur is actually closer to his color in the book than the bright neon green it looks like here) and has very soft fur and is super cute, but it's not a puppet.

I was very disappointed that it is nothing more than a decoration, not a functional Christmas stocking that you can actually put things bigger than a pencil in. If you want a cute Elmo decoration, then this cute, if you want a Christmas stocking to stuff, look elsewhere. The description should be more accurate. I am even more unhappy that I have to not only pay to send it back but also a restocking fee.

Ty Beanie Buddy Blues Clues 17" Plush Review

(More customer reviews)I was a little worried when reading some of the reviews, but this is definitely worth buying if your child loves Blue's Clues. My son is 2 1/2, it is a perfect size - it never leaves his side - we have to take it in the car, in the crib, on the couch...he LOVES it!! It is nice and soft and cuddly, and he carries it around by the ears without causing any damage.
We also bought the small set of three - Blue, Periwinkle, and Magenta - as Liam loves Magenta. These are also a teriffic buy - and perhaps an alternative to getting just the one large Blue.

Some of the prices online are way to expensive. The girl at the store said that Disney is going to be releasing the bluray version.
My 2 1/2 yr old daughter loves this movie and loves both dolls.

Wonder Pets : Tuck the Turtle 13" Plush Doll Toy Review

(More customer reviews)I have all 3 Wonder Pets in this size. My children LOVE them and they all look just like the characters on the show.
The symbol on the cape is an iron-on, I believe, so I am fairly sure it will start peeling off the first time I put this toy in the washer, so that is disappointing.
Other than that, this toy is very realistic, yet 100% soft, so it gets a ton of play in my house. I would definately recommend it.

Barney - Plush - 10 inch Singing I Love You Barney Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this Barney for my one year old son. While he recognized the "I Love You" song immediately, and his little face lit up, Mommy is disappointed with Barney.
Barney has a "pouch" concealed in his behind, held together with cheap velcro, where the music box/battery pack lives. Problem is, the velcro consistently keeps coming undone, leading my little one to reach inside for the battery pack. Though the plastic pack has the protective little screw so he can't get the batteries out of the box, the box has holes in it. Little ones chew--and drool--on anything they can get to their mouths, and voila! My little guy managed to douse the batteries with drool before I got the box away from him.
Also, the pouch inside Barney which holds the aforementioned music box/battery pack is a poor fit. Sometimes you press Barney's heart to hear the song. Sometimes it's his ribs. Sometimes it's his stomach. Yet other times it's his back. The toy seems to frustrate my 2 year old niece because she can't figure out how to get Barney to sing.
All said, I wouldn't buy this toy again. Maybe there's a better Barney out there?
