He used it as an accessary for his Pirate Halloween costume. Offended all the girls and thought it was funny (actually it was funny-but better on his shoulder then mine). Comes with a convenient shoulder strap. Hope this review was helpful!

(More customer reviews)My son is only 5 months old, but he saw this in the store and giggled at it, so of course we had to get it. While it's not durable enough for him to play with on his own yet he loves watching others shake the cookie monster and the phrases that come out still make him laugh (especially when he says "cookies!" and when he burps and says "scuse me!") I think this is a toy that will amuse most kids, no matter what their age!
