Stand him in the corner, throw a blanket over him, put him in a dark room but still he talks. Only cure, so far, is to remove the batteries.

(More customer reviews)I had initially bought the Little Miss Sunshine for my daughter as a joke gift last Christmas. She told me I was nuts but it was obvious that it was a hit when she slept with it every night. Then her friends went crazy over it so she now has Miss Chatterbox, Mr Rude, Mr Strong and Miss Sunshine. They actually look good in her room which is painted dark purple with neon splatter, I guess they are 'retro'. All I know is that when there's a bunch of girls in her room these things are going off constantly.

(More customer reviews)I am not a collector. Every couple years or so my inner child comes out and demands a toy I didn't have growing up and this time it was a doll. I wanted a life like baby doll with my skin tone and she is PERFECT. Weighs about 5 lbs, with soft vinyl skin doesn't feel super real but not exactly "plasticky" either, comes in a cute holiday (way overdressed) dress. She is pretty realistic looking and heavy enough to make you forget for split seconds that she's not a real baby. For the price though, I expected nothing to go wrong. The eyelashes started to fall out after 2 days and I didn't have the heart to return her so I fixed them 4 times in total because one side came apart, got fixed then the other side fell off. Once a day I have to remind myself that she's not a real baby because her smile is so cute that I smile back, my friends think I'm insane but they all agree that she is the cutest doll they've ever seen. I like her so much I want a male version. I changed her clothes into a onesie washed her up with baby wipes for a few days and put baby lotion on her so now she no longer smells like plastic but like a baby too (OK I know this is weird but if a 6 years old were doing it it would be perfectly normal, indulge your inner child, get yourself a toy you never had and play with it for a few days, it's good for the soul).

Disney Winnie the Pooh PookaLooz Plush Doll Winnie the Pooh Review

(More customer reviews)When I was little, I had TONS of vhs tapes of Winnie the Pooh... and I watched them all the time. It was definitely a big part of my childhood.. I've always loved him.
I am now 20 years old and haven't thought much about him for years.. I saw this stuffed animal and immediately knew I had to have it. I have absolutely ZERO stuffed animals, besides this guy. He is just so simply adorable that every time I look at him, I swoon.
The toy is extremely soft, cuddly, and durable. I received him in perfect condition.
About a week after receiving him, I had him on my desk at work when my boss' friend brought his dog in (I work at an art studio in a warehouse, so this is kind of a normal thing. My boss works with recycled materials including old toys and stuffed animals..) and he LOVES to rip up all the old stuffed animals. Somehow, he got a hold of my Pooh toy, and in one solid motion I ran to the dog and grasped tightly onto my poor stuffed bear. Eventually, I rescued him! And SOMEHOW he made it out in fine condition... a bit of slobber.. but no tears, no rips.
Considering the aforementioned story, I would consider this toy durable enough to withstand the grasps of small children. He is safe, he is cute, and I plan on keeping him (out of the mouths of toy killing dogs, I hope) until I have a child of my own so he or she can hug and cuddle him someday.
I'm pretty in love with him.. I mean, come on, look at it... He's god damned cute.

While it's not durable enough for him to play with on his own yet he loves watching others shake the cookie monster and the phrases that come out still make him laugh (especially when he says "cookies!" and when he burps and says "scuse me!") I think this is a toy that will amuse most kids, no matter what their age!

She looks as good in real life as she does in the picture! She has the sweetest little face, and is made very well too. She's also the perfect size for a young child or even a girl who is 10 or eleven. Even my eighteen year old daughter now wants one to keep as a token from her childhood, as she loved the character Madeline in the Madeline series as well. She's adorable in her little blue coat, black shoes, hair made from red yarn, and her wonderful smile! I can't imagine any girl not loving this doll. She's perfect for a 3 or 4 year old, too, because she is a cloth doll and is lightweight. They will love to carry her around as they play or read these delightful books by Ludwig Bemelmans. I think it could even encourage them to read not only these books, but serve to introduce them to the joy of reading. Because Madeline lives in Paris in a home for girls run by Miss Clavell, I also bought my niece, Lydia The Ladybug In Paris. The wonderful stories, characters, and fun illustrations of Lydia the ladybug books reminds me of the Madeline series- only Lydia is a little ladybug. You might also want to buy Lydia: The Story of How the Ladybug Earned her Wings as it is an enchanting story with a great message too, and it is the first book in this series by Marie Lawrence.
All three of these items will make wonderful gifts for children as they will bring them much joy and the stories, especially, the Lydia ladybug books, can build their self-esteem as well.

Kids Preferred Madeline Poseable Madeline Doll Playset Review

(More customer reviews)My child asked for 2 Madeline dolls for Christmas. I got her the large plush doll and tried to find a smaller one.
I wanted one that would fit in a doll house.
I tried fighting for them on ebay but never ended up winning one. My last attempt was to make one but without a small enough pattern, and a 5 month old it was near impossible.
I am happy to have found this Madeline doll along with Nicole. They are sweet and have wonderful details. Madeline has a scare, the clothes have little buttons and the tiny little cloth shoes are adorable.
If I were to change anything about the doll it would be the hat. It's made of felt and not firm but it does go along with the large rag doll hats.
The face is simple but the hands and feet are too detailed and look out of place (the feet have ankles and toes).
I really hope Pepito and Miss. Clavel come out soon.
