My Little Baby 16" Baby Lots Of Fun Review

(More customer reviews)My 16 month old daughter LOVES this doll. I looked around everywhere for a somewhat larger & heavier doll for her since she'll be getting a baby brother in the next few months. The clothes are removable so it was really easy to put on boy clothes and pretend it's her baby brother to be. She loves feeding the baby & watching it's eyes blink, then getting to burp it and watch it fall asleep. She gets a big kick out of the baby saying "mom momma", and when it makes crying or giggling sounds. It's been a good teaching tool for her on how to be gentle with a new baby. I also really like that 'body' part of the doll is soft & not that hard plastic. It makes the body feel more realistic. The hands, feet & head are the hard plastic, but thats a good thing.
I think the only draw backs are that the eyes dont automatically close when it's laying down, and the battery hasnt lasted long. She started using it on Christmas and its only Feb 7th, and the blinking with the bottle is intermittent (Im hoping b/c of batteries and not b/c it's breaking already!)
Overall, its a great doll!

Circo First Words Doll Review

(More customer reviews)This doll is very cute. You squeeze one hand, and the doll giggles. Then you take the other hand and hold it over the star on the book pages, and it says the word/picture on the book pages. It says, mommy, apple, cookie, maybe a couple of more things. Her outfit is cute. I detached the book and she makes a cute doll to have without the book. We put the doll in her Fisher Price Stroll Along Walker, and it fits pretty good.
Cons:
-I have a 10 1/2 month old, and though I saw her try to push the doll's hand, it will be a while before she is able to. And maybe even longer until she tries to put the other hand over the stars. And even longer until she knows you have to push one hand in order to make the other hand work.
-The sensor under the stars tends to move around a little. So, you put the hand over the star, and it doesn't work b/c the sensor has moved so you have to find the sensor.
-The worst thing is the sound quality. It isn't loud enough, and you can hardly understand the words. I tested several in the store, and they were all like that.
Overall, if you are looking for a cute doll, I'd give it a try. Your child will probably won't care about the problems I mentioned, and I think this doll will be used for years to come.
