I began collecting Universal Monster items at a young age and I discovered Sideshow Toys when the company started. I have a huge collection of dolls, statues and Busts made by the company. The figures are of the best quality and the likenesses are fantastic.
This one of Dwight Frye's Renfield character from the original Dracula film is a real beauty and comes with some nice movie accessories. The dolls can be removed from the box for display without damaging the packaging. The doll is 12 inches tall has real cloth clothing and comes in a movie themed window box.

(More customer reviews)I won't write too much on the figure because basically everyone else has covered it. This really is one REALISTIC looking figure. I have both this one and the DC Direct Joker (retail 89.99 when I got that one) and they are both fantastic. I thought that the DC Direct one looked very realistic (especially over the other hot toys joker doll)until I bought this one. This one is truly amazing. The only thing I want to mention that I don't think I have read in the other reviews is that the Stand for the figure is terrible. It is not a very secure stand and does not hold it very well at all. I mean, it works, but I would not take it over the standard stand that clips around their waist or holds the figure up by their shoulders. But does that make this figure not worth getting? Heck No! this thing is a must have for people that love to collect figures and are big fans of the Joker.

Colors are vibrant and more matte finish - not glossy and slippery like alot of small figures. I read from the Wiggles site that none of their toys have lead concerns - I was happy to purchase them! I thought $10 was alot for each one, but they seem really well made. My son carries them everywhere so if they hold up, it's worth it.

Tomb Raider: Lara Croft 12-Inch Action Figure Review

(More customer reviews)The 12" Lara Croft figure is beautifully sculpted, and despite the paint application issues that have plagued NECA's factories, Lara has come out well done. She is the exact duplicate of the 7" Player Select Lara Croft action figure, with some major improvements (as expected). The 7" Lara had too many paint application problems which made her look more like a tra..... less of a woman, but I digress.
12" Lara comes with all accessories like her previous 7" counterpart: 1x Excalibur sword; 1x grenade launcher; 2x pistols; and 1x shotgun. She also comes with a plain [black] plastic base.
There are several things to point out, for one, the base is just too plain. Paying such prices, I'd expect a little more of a detailed base to accompany beautiful Ms. Croft. However, the biggest problem for me is the sound chip. Not only does it marr the beauty of Lara's backside, but the sound chip is just TOO LOUD! And her sound clips are barely audible. That saying, I think the sound chip is just too gimicky for serious collectors.
Another thing I noticed is that Lara's legs feels like it's been made out of ceramic and definitely NOT plastic.
The 12" Lara Croft is deceptively labeled as an action figure, but does a better job of passing as a statue. Due to the budget constraints and sound chip imbedded in her back, she doesn't get any swivel hip movement. Her arms can be moved around, with swivel wrists. She even has swivel feet, which is nice. Lara also has a ball-jointed head.
Overall, GREAT figure, slightly hurt by the gimmicky and LOUD (My ears are bleeding!)sound chip and disappointingly little articulation [for an ACTION figure].

His tuxedo is extremely well-made and I love how he has rooted hair instead of painted-on hair. He definitely has the James Bond look. As for Barbie, she's beautiful as always! I love the outer golden layer of the dress, it truly sparkles. The deep burgundy in her dress and wrap add to the elegance. Her necklace and earrings perfectly complement her ensemble. I could imagine her as a seductive Bond girl in any of the Bond movies. The cell phone strapped to her thigh is a cute detail. I also love how Ken's briefcase has real "secret" papers inside of it. Another thumbs-up to Mattel!

I think this could be the start of something really big if she continues to 'star' in other Hollywood Classics. Her new facial mold/sculpt is quite interesting - the shocked or scared look has been achieved without making her look too "shocked" !
The packaging/display is really great! Hope Mattel continues the trend with follow-ups like Bride of Frankenstein or a Dracula Flick or even Jane from the Tarzan Series! There were many heroines that Barbie would be perfect to portray!
Kitty West could make a great role for Barbie too!
Keep up the good work Mattel...those creative juices too!

Not just because it's a fun toy. But the lowest price to buy this is $42.95 on Amazon. I think if I wait long enough it would be worth more.
But to the point, the points of articulation are REALLY low, but the durability is top notch.
If I were you I'd just put this up on a shelf somewhere.
All in all, this toy is just a dust collector in my opinion.

He needs a little help with making the various "magic" tricks work, but he absolutely loves it. The idea of using an air fan to "levitate" things is very clever and fasinating to the older HP fans. The tricks work very similar to Harry Potter's Levitating Challenge game if you have any experience with that. The glasses and wand are pretty small and I expect they will be damaged or lost soon.

Barbie Dolls of the World: Princess of Ireland - Collector Edition Doll (2001) Review

(More customer reviews)Coming from an Irish family, I have accumulated many different types of Irish collectibles over the years: stuffed animals, Beanie Babies, glasses, books, jewelery...all with some sort of Irish theme. But until recently I didn't have any Irish dolls, porcelain or otherwise. I have been collecting Dolls of the World Barbies for a number of years, and more recently Princess of the World dolls, so I couldn't believe it when I found out that a Princess of Ireland Barbie would be made. I was nervous that the doll wouldn't "feel" Irish enough. So when I received her in the mail I was pleasantly surprised that she was even more beautiful than in the photos online. Her complexion is very fair, and her auburn hair is stunning in natural light. Her green eyes are sparkling and mysterious, and she wears a very light rose eyeshadow that makes her beautiful eyes stand out even more. Her costume is sort of a medieval/Celtic blend. She wears a velvety soft forest green cloak with a golden Tara brooch clasp, a traditional Celtic design. Her dress is a crinkly olive green fabric with a stripe of Celtic designs down the middle. At her waist she wears a belt of three golden medallions with Celtic designs, and on her head, perfectly balanced atop her auburn hair, a golden crown fit for an Irish princess. The box she comes in is also perfect for displaying her in. Appropriately enough, it is green (Ireland is actually a Viking word for green) with golden trim. The backdrop inside of the box is an Irish castle. There is information about the Celts on the back of the box. This is sure to become a treasured keepsake in my family, and I'm planning on buying more for relatives and friends.

Princess of Ireland is a special Barbie that has been crafted with style and loving attention to detail. She has green eyes, auburn hair, and fair skin. Star Wars Saga Saesee Tiin Jedi Master #20 Review

(More customer reviews)My thrid Episode II toy purchase was Jedi Master Saesee Tiin. Having a great, action oriented pose he looks great in Geonosis dioramas and has a great sculpt and accessories. There are only a few problems with my figure and they are as follows:
- The fireball is a great effect for kids, but I really get annoyed with these new accessories because you can't see force blasts or pushes in the films so why would the figs have these crazy flaming energy swirls? Lost on me.
- His saber doesn't stay in his hands after the rubber bands have been taken off, but with some work it will stay. For kids, this is a downer because now a potential hero figure cannot properly hold their own weapon.
- Mine has chipped...I don't know if all suffer from this but mine is kind of wierd around the wrists.
Overall, a great, diverse, awesome Jedi figure for all collections and collector. I hope my review was helpful.
