(More customer reviews)The box arrived as expected in a timely manner. I was very pleased that it was double boxed so it did not revealed contents of the inside. It was BIG. I mena really really really BIG. I would say the size of the box was about.. hmm.. the size of the Microwave oven? the largest one you can imagine..
It was very impressive. Excitement had no end when we took the Cottage finally out of it and set it up on the table. It came pretty much fully assambled. Tney let you have fun with setting up few accessories here and there.. like adding a shutters to the windows or assambling the pump or hanging the pot by the fireplace.. things like that. All accessories came in sealed bags inside. Sheer amount of them is owerwhelming. Countless little dishes, of course you get 7 of everything.. seven big plates, small plates, bowls, spoons, forks.... the list goes on and on.. flowers come with a flower vase!
and a roller pin for the dough!! of course bear mugs..
not to forget the broom for the Snow White just like in the movie.. candelabra with candles.. and a lantern!
and even a pie! oh, did I forget about soup turrain. and a water pitcher!
a wheel barrel.. and a veawed basket.. charming just so charming those little things just make you go
"aaaaah" "ooooooh".. they are so darn cute.
You get your furniture with it as well, that was perfect, I would not know where to buy it if it would not come with it as the cottage is a cottage and it must have it's specific character furniture or it would not be a cottage. So they took care of it. Disney did superb job in doing just that.. making super cute replicas of all furniture as in the movie and they just make the cottage so beautiful.
The dishes fit perfectly in the cubopards top parts and bottom.. and the drawers.
If this was not enough they added fabulous clock with the cuckoo with movable arm.. and of course the musical organ as you saw in the movie when Snow Whtie is dancing with the Dwarfs, it is such a charming scene.. this piece is making it all happening all over again.
Basically this is what this whole Toy does is, it brings the charm of the film into your home. Once it is fully set up and you add a kid or kids to it you can't help but marvel how great buy it is, the best money ever spent on toy. It is pure clean family fun and it is just so uplifting to see how girls or even boys get captivated by the magic of the movie and charm of this toy.
The children bring to life the characters from the movie and act out the scenes from the movie adding oftentimes their own lines and their own ideas of what should happen and changing things as they like.
It is brilliant that the set comes with everything you need since this makes it such a perfect and dream come true set.
It is very unique toy and there is no other quite like it and I don't suppose that previous generations could enjoy the magic of Snow White with any toy more then our children can with this one.
I only wish we could get an extra sets of dolls as I wish to keep this set as our family keepsake for our grand kids and so it stays in the family and it would be great to have perfect clean and new set of dolls for the grand kids but they are so hard to come buy if ever and even if so they are so expensive.
Very good toy and I highly recommend it. We are all very happy with it and all our house guests love this set just the same.
