Disney Fairies Style 2 - Iridessa 9" Feature Doll Review

(More customer reviews)Disney really should be paying attention to whom they allow to build their toys. With the Christmas holiday, the promises of this toy were terrific. Wave a wand and fairy magic happens.
Well, apparently this toy could quash your belief in faeries because this toy's "special feature" is epic FAIL.
I have the switch in the ON position, I replaced the batteries, and I tested the "default button" switch and all works well. Wave that wand fast, wave it slow, wave it so you make your kid giggle but guess what -- the wand doesn't work. I bought TWO of these dolls (lucky me, my kid already has a Silvermist) and neither have working wands. I went online to see if there was an answer, but apparently I am not alone.
My kid still loves her Disney Fairy dolls, so I won't be returning them...but I am disappointed in Disney's Quality Control. This is a screw-up on a grand scale, and next time, when it comes down to keeping it simple or paying extra for the cool special effect, I think I'll just stick to the basics.
Do yourself (and your kid) a favor: buy the standard dolls. You can dodge the disappointment bullet.
