(More customer reviews)I purchased this item based on my experience with Madame Alexander products over the past 30 + years. I purchased it for my daughter-in-law who is quite a fanatical fan of Tink. I looked the doll over before wrapping it and found it delightful. My daughter-in-law said she felt likewise. It is such good quality. The dolls by nature are not cuddley/cuddly (?) so the essence of "fairy-like" is missing -- you know, the lithe and lovely and flighty and flitty characteristics we imagine belong to fairies. But then again I am not so sure about a stuffed Tink . . . ?
I think this is a wonderful product. NOT a toddler doll. It is a collectible doll to be cherished and looked at with both parent/adult and child then put away again for another time.

She wanted more clothes for her American Girl doll, but they are so expensive, so I was excited when I saw that these dolls are the same size and for $50 you get a doll AND 15 dress-up items. My daughter uses them on both this doll and her American Girl doll and they fit both perfectly. Very cute!

The doll is very cute as are all the AG dolls, but I find it outrageous that an available doll is being offered on Amazon for almost twice the price you can get from the manufacturer! People might see the listing and conclude that it costs even more elsewhere, which is just not true.

Gotz Dolls Mini Muffin 8" - Blonde Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased this doll from a discount store since we bought a "bigger" version of the Gotz Muffin doll over Christmas and loved it. My daugher uses her doll as the younger sister for the regular sized doll. The quality is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. The clothes are plain and not that bright. Her hair is the best part, since its in pretty braids and much better quality hair than other manufacturers use!! The doll's face is nice but not as realistic as the larger dolls. Overall its a perfect "first" doll for a younger child. It is great to take on road trips since its not too big to carry around and can fit in totes just fine. Designed in Germany, but made in China.

She is slightly scented with babypowder smell, but it is not strong at all. You have to get real close to smell it not like some dolls (Berenguer dolls baby nursery collection smelled up my whole room so i returned it).
