(More customer reviews)Pinkie Pie has her own balloon house and now is the owner of Ponyville's roller skating rink. The designs for all the My Little Pony "Ponyville" houses have been exceptional and this doesn't break that rule. This looks like a birthday cake with balloons decorating the house and what looks to be a candle and flame at the top. It comes with one pony, Pinkie Pie and some assorted birthday themed tiny objects - cake, table, and a scooter that has rolling wheels she can ride (the pony has a hole in one "foot" that lets it sit on the peg that holds it onto the scooter so she doesn't fall off).
It's very cute, very pink and cleverly designed.
HOWEVER, three complaints with the house.
ONE - it's made of a thinner plastic than the heavier Teapot Palace and Balloon House. It has not been a problem so far, but it seems more breakable, especially the part that opens on the bottom into the skating rink.
TWO - Hasbro made a set of "bumper cars" that came with two ponies that were sold seperately. The bumper cars SHOULD have been a part of this package because they obviously GO with the house, instead of the scooter (which seems like they had a surplus of with other Ponyville mini playsets so they threw one in here). Its just not as fun or unique without the bumper cars.
THREE - Pinkie Pie's rollerskates do not roll. The wheels are molded on plastic. Which is a bummer.
Buy it for the house, but don't expect to have the complete experience without the bumper cars. Both my kids enjoyed this for awhile but not as much as more interactive toys that have more bells and whistles (like the Teapot Palace).
