(More customer reviews)The horse and doll are gorgeous! The horse has withstood a lot of play. And the hair acutally took a long time to get tangled. I thought it would take minutes but I was wrong. However it got a 3 star rating on the durability of the doll. The crown and necklace are VERY filmsy and broke within 2 days of play. Its made of tiny tiny soft plastic. Not hard at all, like the horse. The horse's crown is great and still going strong a year later. Its made of hard plastic.

My daughters absolutely love this doll and were ecstatic upon receiving a package from Russia (addressed to them) and finding this amazingly well crafted doll inside the package. Any other nesting dolls I purchase will be from this manufacturer (Dirent). I highly recommend them.

Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses: Princess Blair Review

(More customer reviews)This doll is very pretty. The dress is lovely but could be fuller and longer. Her arms are fairly durable. One of the lower arms came off, but after three years and 3-8 yr. old girls I know playing with her (and banging her around on their brothers' heads) it's understandable. NOT WORTH $70!!!! I don't care how amazing it is, NO DOLL is worth that much in my opinion. She is educational to me because she teaches girls to be imaginative. She isn't technological and she doesn't do the story for you; you make up the story yourself. THe movie, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses, is a great movie and I love it. It's worth buying, defineitely, and would make a nice gift- the doll and the movie. Doll's face, however, doesn't resemble Blair's face in the movie. But she's still a pretty doll and mine now serves as a hospital patient:D

Disney Princess Darlings Cinderella Doll Review

They get a lot more attention than "Polly" and the other dolls like her because these actually have hair (NICE HAIR) and she brushes and puts it up and all that. Plus I like the "real clothes" so I dont end up constantly to helping her pull on and off the rubber-type clothes of the other dolls.

Disney Princess dress up shoes boutique. Review

(More customer reviews)I just ordered these shoes for my soon to be 3 year old daughter. She has the princess dresses but not the shoes. She has wide feet and a high instep. She is able to wear 3 out of the 4 pairs of shoes - the Ariel shoes don't accommodate her high instep (they are more of a chunky sandal style) so we will be passing them along to a friend.
The only negative on these shoes is that they are not recommended for wearing on slippery, hard surfaces (such as tile). It's better for carpet or non-slip surfaces. Although the shoes have what look like non-slip additions to the heels and soles, they are not as "grippy" as I think they should be. They are hard instead of a soft rubber-like material. So I just make sure my daughter understands not to walk in them on our tile/hardwood floors. She's already slipped and fallen, but all is well. :)
Overall, I like the product and she enjoys wearing the shoes. Just keep them on carpet.

Disney Princess Darlings Ariel Doll Review

The only complaint I have with the shipping process is that the dolls arrived in a box with a large blue Disney oval on the side. I didn't notice the logo and sat the box on the dining room table. The moment my 4 year old daughter walked by, she sure noticed. White lie told, box spirited away, and lesson learned, Disney loves their logo and my daughter has a great memory for them.
The Princesses all share common traits. Beautiful, very brush-able hair - my daughter can do it easily - and the hair is gorgeous, shiny, thick and longer than the doll is tall. The gowns are all beautiful and seem to be made decently. My one complaint with the dolls themselves is that they come with the tiniest little shoes that I have ever seen. Even smaller than Polly Pocket shoes! We only have three or four left out of the original six. I believe the others either fell between the carpet and the wall, or were swept up and pitched.
All the Princesses come with handy little display boxes and while made out of plastic are still stylish and sturdy. We are currently using them as containers for Barbie footware and accessories, and for all the tiny little pieces that come with dollhouses, dollhouse kitchens and the like. Another small complaint here with the display boxes. Since we are very used to ridiculous toy packaging, we mistook a display stand - needed to stand the dolls up straight in their boxes - for packaging and they ended up in the trash.
Overall, Disney Princesses are beautiful, fun dolls that my daughter plays with over and over again and I highly recommend them for preschoolers and other Princess fans

(More customer reviews)I bought this set for my 3 year old daughter, as well as the Cinderella set. She loves them both, and never lets them out of her sight. BUT, I wish I had NEVER bought them. The Cinderella doll lost her head within 2 days, and the Sleeping Beauty within a week. I replaced them, thinking we just had a bad luck batch, but the Cinderella has already lost her head. This is not due to my daughter being rough with them, but the fact that dressing them is almost impossible without pulling on their heads. Additionally, I don't know how any child is expected to dress these dolls. Even my husband and I struggle to get the dresses on. It is almost impossible. The poor quality, coupled with the difficulty in dressing them, makes me wish I had never bought them. I spend countless minutes a day changing their clothes because my daughter can't. Don't waste your money, or your time with these dolls!

Disney Princess Shimmer Doll Collection Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter received these dolls as a present last night. In less than 24 hours, two of the dresses have already torn apart (both Belle and Cinderella). Snow White's crown has snapped in half. My daughter knows how to play with this type of doll and can easily dress and undress other dolls of this type by herself. The overall quality of this product is very, very low. While I don't expect toys to last forever, I would expect that a doll's clothing meant for children to play with be durable enough to last through more than one change of costume. This is not worth the money - spend your drachmas at the Disney Store for their princess dolls instead. We've never encountered any quality issues there.
