(More customer reviews)We purchased this horse stable for our daughter (7 1/2 yrs). She had played with my niece's barn (made by Breyer) and had asked for one for Christmas. The Breyer barn was too expensive so I chose this one. I am glad I did as this seems better designed and constructed. As none of these toys is inexpensive, I was also concerned that this might be too young for her. I am happy to say that this was the star attraction on Christmas morning. She and my son (5 yrs.) have played with it every day since Christmas. It is a great design (they love to open all the doors or let the horses heads peak out) and seems to be very well-made. I do recommend buying extra fencing for the corral (Breyer makes it) as the one that comes with it is a little short. Also, we did buy some of the Breyer horses from Target. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it. We have several products from the Melissa and Doug company and all have been well-designed and of high quality.
