In 2001, when David's soon to be wife and creative partner Sun-Min had to return to Korea, he sent her many "I miss you" letters with his little Wage character drawn at the bottom. UglyDoll® Black Ice Bat 12-Inch Review

(More customer reviews)My baby brother who is three wanted an Ugly Doll very badly after fighting his six year old brother for his Ice Bat (Blue). So, he finally got it. You'd think that the Black Ice Bat wasn't just a stuffed toy, but an action figure as well. Not only does the bat bring fun as an animal, but apparently as a spaceship and plane as well!
The only problem we've had is finding it occasionally when it's on the black couch. Apparently it has a stealth mode that we didn't know about.
We know from experience that the Ugly Dolls are durable as far as play goes along with washing. We just throw them right in the washing machine and then in the dryer. Maybe fluff for a minute and then hand it right over.
I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone with a boy or girl!

The dolls hold up the the rigors of a 9 year old boy and they wash easily. All in all, a good buy.

(More customer reviews)I truly love this set of stuffed friends. The material Icebat is made from is very soft and not at all ugly, despite the makers' statement that these dolls are made from the "ugliest materials" they could find.
Icebat is fitting in nicely with OX, Cinko, and Uglydog, and with the bat fairies, Brandtii and Oreo, who sometimes visit me. He comes with a small card describing him in detail. (His dossier is very cute.) For those who decide they like these dolls, I recommend a visit to the official Uglydolls website for a peek at their T-shirts and the 7 inch dolls. The smaller versions are different colors than the larger ones.

(More customer reviews)My 5 year old Grandson had seen this bat at school. He wanted one and I could not find one anywhere around town. I ordered it on Amazon without him knowing I had. When the bat arrived he was so excited. It quickly became his favorite toy. He has enjoyed learning about bats and playing on the Webkinz site with "Casper" (his name for his bat). He gets pretty rough with Casper, at times. The toy has stood the test of time and a 5 year old. My Grandson has enjoyed it very much. He has learned a lot about bats and their habits. Overall this toy has been a tremendous success.
