She just learned how to say backpack so i thought it would be good for her to have the dora backpack. She loves the map that's attached to the side pocket. But once we put her small books in it, the thing wouldn't stay closed. i'm going to have to put another type of fastener on it. fun "toy"

Dora the Explorer "My Friend Dora" Review

(More customer reviews)For some reason my 1-year old really likes Dora the Explorer. She brightens up every time the show comes on TV. So it was a natural that her first doll be Dora.
We purchased this Dora doll for our daughter's first birthday and it was a big hit. She took to the doll immediately and smiles every time she sees it. It is the perfect size for her to wrap her little arms around it and give it a big hug.
They were smart to include the comb, because Dora's hair gets tangled very easily. A cute toy.

Fisher-Price Dora's Pony Adventures Playset: Dora & Frost Review

(More customer reviews)I've only given this 4 stars because the included Dora doll does not has as flexible limbs as another set of Dora with a horse that I purchased at the same time. This dora has poseable legs and arms, but not knees and elbows.
My daughter loves Dora. Like she is a 2 year old stalker. It is Dora this and Dora that, all the time. Really, all the time.
So this set of a doll and horse for her to play with is wonderful. The horse moves it's head from side to side. Dora is slightly poseable. This horse is a pretty one, with it's long mane. A comb is included, but nothing goes through the cheap synthetic hair once it gets messed up. (I'll just trim this one's when the knots get too bad, lucky it is sooo long)
It is a nice, durable toy to let your kid play without the tv.

They are great for imaginative play and she plays with them daily. Each doll is a good size, small enough for little hands to easily play with & easy to take on the go, but not too small. This set is one of her very favorite Christmas gifts. She even packs them in her Dora backpack to take to Nana's! Great purchase.

My son is 2 years and 8 months and my daugther is 9 months old. Of course he uses both backpacks, she just like to bite the map. xD
I think the size is perfect for their little backs. It is a little small inside but it is not a problem... Sometimes we use it for their diapers, or for a bit of toys, or for Swiper and Boots I also bought here.
We also play a lot with the backpacks, specially with Dora's and the Map!

(More customer reviews)I love this Diego. It took me forever to find a toy that didn't 'do' anything. Every toy these days has to do something: sing, count, talk, go potty, something! One Diego I found came with computer software so he could learn your child's name. I just wanted a cuddley Diego my son could play with and use his OWN IMAGIONATION with. The doll is bigger than I expected (about the size of a cabbage patch baby) but it is perfect. My son loves it. The only thing he doesn't like is the watch and backpack are sewn on and he wants to take them off. (In the interest of not losing them, I have yet to do so.) Otherwise, great toy!

(More customer reviews)I got this a year ago for my then 2-year old daughter to use as a carry-on when we were going on an international flight. I looked all over for a cute backpack that would be comfortable for a little girl to carry. Most of the bags I saw were too big or too stiff - but this was was just right for her! It was the perfect size for her crayons, a mini-coloring book (not a full-size one though) a few small toys plus a cup in the side pocket. I could have even fit a diaper and wipes in there but I didn't want it to get too heavy for her. It would have been great if only I hadn't left it in my dad's car when I got to the airport! It has gotten lots of use since then both as a toy for make-believe dress-up and as a very convenient catch all when we're going out. I highly recommend this toy/bag for anyone with a little Dora fan!
