She put the outfit on her right away and hasn't changed her in weeks because she loves the cuteness and colors (pinks, purples...perfect for a little girl.) The ice skates slip on easily but don't fall off too easily which is nice.

I love how it includes "accessories" that are big enough to not get lost and fun for imaginative play! and DURABLE!
I love the variety, a baker is such a sweet set!
the clothing is made great!
these are easy to dress outfits!
Only complaint about this set, not really a big complaint is the apron ties, which is too hard for a young child to do.

Dora the Explorer "My Friend Dora" Review

(More customer reviews)For some reason my 1-year old really likes Dora the Explorer. She brightens up every time the show comes on TV. So it was a natural that her first doll be Dora.
We purchased this Dora doll for our daughter's first birthday and it was a big hit. She took to the doll immediately and smiles every time she sees it. It is the perfect size for her to wrap her little arms around it and give it a big hug.
They were smart to include the comb, because Dora's hair gets tangled very easily. A cute toy.

(More customer reviews)My daughter got this doll for Christmas last year, and it's easily her favorite. She adores all things Dora, but this toy is definitely the most played with of all her toys.
I think the outfits are a little pricey, but if you shop around and wait for sales like the day after Thanksgiving, you can find them at a reasonable cost. We bought them all in one shot last year, and have been doling them out for special occasions.
I like the fact the basic doll comes with a puppy, as well as Backpack and a storybook. Each outfit has a separate theme (with coordinating book) and they're constantly adding new outfits to her line, so you can pick and choose which you prefer.
My only complaints is getting the shoes and hats to stay on, otherwise my daughter has no problems dressing the doll and getting Dora ready for her adventures.
Overall we're very pleased with this toy purchase and will probably have it for years to come.

(More customer reviews)My youngest one loves Dora and all her friends. We had tons of Dora dolls, but no Swiper (or Boots for that matter). We found the Swiper (and Boots) plush dolls by Ty and they're everything you would expect from a Ty plush doll. (They're the company that makes Beanie Babies.)
Swiper comes about 7" or so high and is really cute. My daughter loves playing with him and calling out "Swiper No Swiping!"

(More customer reviews)I personally don't think there is anything "cute" about Dora normally, but this one actually is. My friend's 3 year old daughter is absolutely nuts over Dora and this was purchased as a gift for her. She is very into dressing herself now so I thought she'd get a kick out of the toddler look of this Dora, the pigtails, and especially the outfits to change her in to. I was right. There are cute outfits to buy seperately (which those I purchased at Toys R Us with a 'buy 2, get 1 free' sale). There's a birthday party outfit, holiday dress, pajamas, and I think it was a surfer girl outfit. Then they all come with some sort of extras, such as the pajama outfit comes with a little sleeping bag. I'd recommend it. It is cute, the fans of Dora, and probably non-fans alike, would like it.
