1. TRUE storm shadow WAS a member of cobra in the begining, he was only there to find out who murdered his uncle.(SNake eyes' sensei) once he found out he defected to G.I.Joe.
2. as stated previously Storm Shadow DID NOT murder snake-eyes' sensai, zartan did, but used storm shadow's arrow to frame him.
3. Storm Shadow and Snake-eyes are sword brothers and still get along.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.p.s. these figures are great

She doesn't necessarily play with it as it's more of a display figurine so I don't know the durability of the product. As always this item should never be given to children too young as there are many small bits within the toy.

(More customer reviews)Okay, I'm a man in my early thirties who played with G.I.Joes back in the 1980s. I used to have to listen to the adults around me talk about how when they were kids, their G.I.Joes were the size of Ken dolls, and had realistic facial hair. So what, I liked my G.I.Joes! Besides, being roughly four inches tall made it easier to have them fight in all their various land, air, and sea vehicles (the 80s really shoved a lot of toys at us, now that I think about it).
"Enough nostalgia" you say, "Tell me about the toy today!" I'm happy to say that the 25th Anniversary G.I.Joe action figures are still pretty cool. They're still very poseable, and even come with little black bases to stand on (they even have their code names on them). It looks like they changed the waist/torso movement a bit, but it's an improvement, in my opinion. Nice level of detail, the same amount of durability from back then, and a few weapons to choose from.
For you collectors out there, the package illustration is a nice throwback to back in the day, only with silver trim around the cardboard. And yes, on the back they still have the cut-out files!
The bottomline is these are fun action figures that every boy (or girl, why not?) should get a chance to play with. I always found that they encouraged creativity among kids, I think a lot of it has to do with their small size and poseability; it's fun to take little people and act out crazy scenarios with them. When you're a kid, you can do that, but when you're an adult, you make sure no one's watching! And for those of you who don't know, Snake Eyes is one of the coolest characters in the G.I.Joe pantheon. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

(More customer reviews)My son has a Christmas tree in his room, and every year we add to his personal collection of ornaments. As he gets older, it gets more difficult to find ornaments that reflect his interests. I ordered the Storm Shadow figure as it is one of the two ninjas in the GI Joe movie my son really liked. It came with many extras, and once I assembled the figure and it's accessories on the little dog tag shaped stand it came with, I crazy glued the little parts to the figure and glued the figure to the stand. I glued a little wire loop to the back of the figures head, and we have a new ornament for my son's tree. For such a small figure, it has a lot of moving joints, and came with a lot of accessories. Seems quite well-made.

(More customer reviews)If you're looking for a representation of Snake Eyes from the movie, this is currently your only real option in this scale (the other Snake Eyes available wears a trench coat, which while making for a nicer looking design, isn't accurate.) He comes with his trademark sword, a machine gun, and a large missile launcher that has a handle-bar allowing him to slide down the tether between the missile and launcher. He also includes a base in the shape of a dog tag with his name on it. The articulation is top notch. You can get him in to all sorts of cool ninja poses. If you've got young ones that like G.I. Joe or just ninjas in general, you really can't go wrong with this guy. They will probably have a lot of fun with the large tether missile, sliding Snake Eyes down the line. More serious collectors are probably going to throw that particular accessory in a box and forget about it, though.
