While most people don't know their names, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes are some of the most recognizable extraterrestrials from the original Star Wars film. These musical aliens set the tone for one of the most unforgettable scenes in movie history-- and now they can be yours! Indiana Jones 12 Inch Figure - Indiana Jones With Whip Action Review

(More customer reviews)I remember the 12 inch Indiana Jones doll back in 1981 that was out for about a week, it seemed anyway. It was imposable to find then and I have been waiting for it for years! (Because I wouldn't pay the ridiculous price for it as time went by).
Now with the new movie coming out, thank GOD, here come the Indy figures and dolls! (As nerdy as that sounds). I chose this one over the talking Indy simply because it looks more like Indiana than the other does. It isn't the old 81 doll I remember as a kid but it'll do, for now. The detail is nice as are the accessories. Unfortunately it has "whip cracking action" which means if you move a lever on his back his arm moves the whip up and down. Does anyone at Hasbro have the slightest clue how useless this feature is? It's a minor nuisance and overall it's worth owning though other companies are now making much better detailed versions of Indiana Jones in 12" form.

(More customer reviews)I purchased both styles so both of my daughters would have their own pony. Both Cherilee and this one (Pinkie Pie) remind me of older, yarn made plushes. Their bodies are soft and durable, easy to wipe off with a yarn like feel. The legs have little patches and gives it that "homemade with love" look as well. Since My Little Ponies are not that cuddly for bedtime (being plastic and all) this is the perfect companion for nighttime snuggles. My daughters love them and swap the two ponies between them frequently. A good buy for pony lovers.

Marvel Legends Icons Series - Thor Review

(More customer reviews)This is an awesome figure! Fabric cape and good detail and size. A couple of small complaints, though. First, the wings on his helmet are going in the wrong direction; they don't flare ou to the sides. Second, on the back, they don't list all of his powers, such as energy projection, weather control, nor that he's immortal, like they did with the smaller Hercules figure. Still far better than the DC figures that have almost no articulation and have hard plastic capes. THOSE are cheesy. These are better than those Toy Biz pieces of [...] that were all the same size (despite the fact that Thor's much, much bigger than most characters) and the Hasbro figures don't look doll-like. Massively cool, if a little imperfect.

(More customer reviews)The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that her butterfly 3D cutie mark looks like it fell off and somebody sanded the area and glued it back on, but it's hardly noticeable if you're not looking for defects. I donno, maybe the one I got wasn't new, but I don't wanna go blaming the seller if I don't know for sure. She sure was taped in like Hasbro did it! Her tail seems longer than usual, and her mane, though lovely, will ultimately need some creative styling, unless she's being used as a toy, which is precisely what she is, so mine still hasn't had much done to her hair, and she's really cute!!! The 3D cutie mark feels solid, but I don't wanna be rough with it to see if it will fall off. I would just recommend to any parent that this toy should be handled with care if given to any child who might become injured by a small fibreglass butterfly just in case it does come loose. I donno, I'm inspecting it pretty closely now, and I don't see any loose places, but again, I don't wanna get violent with her to see if her butterfly breaks off. Just tell your kids to "play nicely" like I do =) That seems to work! She's lovely, she's pretty, and she's cute, and that's what ponies are for in my opinion =)

My Little Pony Original 1983 My Little Pony Collection 2 Review

(More customer reviews)I have been a pony collector for as long as I can remember, and becuase I was born in 1983 MLP has been around for even longer :). While these ponies are in the same style as the old ones I think it is my job to say that they are not *just* like the older ones you may remember. The colors are much darker than they first were, more bright colors than the pastel shades. This is most true in the case of Minty and Blossom.
Also, their tails are very thin so there is not as much hair to brush :\
All and all these sets are great if you are not very picky or don't remember their colors well, but a true MLP collector may want to see them first before buying :).
I myself am getting a set, my childhood Minty needs a friend :).

(More customer reviews)There has been a change in the little ponyville ponies in the last few months and this has extended to these larger ponys. They now have the Hairstyles in a snap, which means these ones no longer have manes which you can brush.
Instead, scootaloo has two hat/wigs which can fit on her head, she also comes with shoes and two plastic costumes.
She comes in a resuseable box (EXCELLENT!) this was such a good idea, that means there is limited packaging, and what it comes in is mostly reuseable -a great recycling idea and it is a really pretty carry bag too.
Overall my kids love these new ideas. The ponys are great and extend out what they can do with them.

(More customer reviews)I gave this as a gift to a four-year-old boy three weeks ago. His mother said he hasn't parted with it since. He plays with it constantly and even sleeps with it, and it's standing up well to the abuse.
Great for any young Spiderman fans you know. It is, however, one of those toys you get for someone else's kid. The mother said she's constantly be startled by Spiderman whizzing by and finding Spiderman underfoot.
Note, it does require batteries, which are not included - something I managed to overlook.

My Little Pony Ponyville Music with Starsong Review

(More customer reviews)In addition to the sweet and clothes emphasis of Ponyville, there is now a music theme - which is great! My daughters love this new idea, and they really have taken to Star Song and the whole music theme.
There is a saxomphone, some music and a piano in here, amongst other bits and pieces. It is a small set, but it goes with some of the other ones quite well. The Teapot palace has a music theme in it, as does the amusement park (which is the family favourite now)
So this is a nice little collection - unfortunately the pieces are pretty easily lost though! However a good addition to Ponyville thanks and fun.
