(More customer reviews)my 10 month old twins love this hand puppet - they are endlessly entertained by the fake-growling oscar impression. the convenient hand puppet makes it really easy to take along for mealtimes and travel. for some reason, they respond more to oscar than to the cookie monster - perhaps it's because of his eyebrows! anyhow, this is a high-quality puppet and the only thing i can think of as lacking is that the mouthpiece is a little hard to move at the same time as the arms.

The snowy owl is found from the north of Greenland to the south shores of Hudson Bay and along the northern perimeters of Alaska and Canada, and also in the tundra areas of Siberia and Scandinavia. The males may be almost completely white, but the females usually have more extensive black markings on their head, wings and body. The chief food of snowy owls is lemmings, although they also feed on various other small animals such as ground squirrels, mice, and rabbits. They are skilled in catching fish, lying in wait on the banks of lakes or rivers to seize one in their claws. Occasionally, birds are caught in the air and eaten. The large, nocturnal eyes are deceptive, as snowy owls usually hunt by day.

Gund Ernie Hand Puppet Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 1 year old daughter who loves it when I make puppets talk to her. I have really had a hard time finding puppet in the local stores, so I decided to turn to the internet. I used to have some Sesame Street puppets when I was a kid and thought that they were great. So I figured this would be a perfect puppet to use with my daughter.
Here's the thing. The opening into the head of this doll is too small to get a grown ups hand into and still be able to operate the puppet with any ease. Also, the mouth is very stiff making it hard to open and close.
The overall look of the puppet is good, but it isn't very user friendly. Needless to say, I am pretty disappointed in this product and wish that I wouldn't have bought it.
