(More customer reviews)My parents ordered this product through an Amazon vendor. They didn't remark on the $35 price when they purchased it online. But when it arrived at the door, the price $19 was printed on the packaging. The vendor has basically doubled the price! At time of writing this review, the product (originally $19, printed as part of the packaging, not a sticker on it) is listed as $35 from amazon, with 16 more available as "new" for closer to $20. I don't know how they get away with this, but watch out for the price. The toy is fun and cute for a little girl, but it's an inexpensive toy and should be sold inexpensively.

She has dropped it and it has been shoved around and nothing ever comes off of it and it always closes well. The vibrant colors and different scenes inside make it fun for her to play with the pet shop animals. She likes it so much, I decided to buy it for my 4-year-old niece's birthday. It sounds like she loves it just as much! Good buy!

(More customer reviews)This pet actually is a bit bigger than the description states. Sitting up, this pet is just over 8.5 inches at the ears. The pet only came in a ziploc bag instead of retail packaging. It would have made such a nicer gift had it been boxed properly.
How the pet works is you go to http://www.hasbro.com/littlestpetshop/default.cfm and click on "VIPS are here" to enter your online access code which can be found in the tag around the neck. This code will give you one year of unrestricted access to play games, feed your virtual pet, decorate your virtual house, and read the littlest pet shop newspaper. It's a great bargain compared to Toontown and other pay by the month kid friendly sites. Kids will have a great time earning points, called kibbles, and redeeming them to buy virtual things for their pets. Each VIP pet comes with 100 kibble in the account automatically.
If you are unsure if this is a toy your child will enjoy, you can still register, and then "borrow" a pet rather than adopt. You will be able to try out the games and see how the web site works before adopting a pet (i.e. Buying a VIP pet).
I found the games to be fun and age appropriate for 5-7 year olds. 8 year olds may even enjoy the site, as well as advanced 4 year olds but you will definately want to try out the site by "borrowing" a pet as stated above just to make sure this is right for your child.
The VIP dog is very soft and cuddly!

Putting it together was a nightmare. It was a good two hours. We should have put it together before giving it to our daughter. Instead, she waited patiently as we put it together. I had no idea it would be so complicated.
If you have little babies in the house, you need to be careful because there are lots of small parts. But that is what makes this playset so much fun- there are so many details. The variations are endless.
A great playset. Good quality. Lots of details.

LPS is all the craze for 2nd grade girls these days. My daughter wants to be a vet & is very into ANYTHING that has animal characters. Though I don't feel these toys are as educational as others, they are certainly good for hours of fun!

One of my daughters friends was already trying to strike up a trade with her in some of the pets :) Of course my daughter put the brakes on that :) but I told her mom were to find them . The pet are cute and it is a very unique set. Although the price has went up since I bought mine. I have not seen anymore of these expect on Amazon. I would reccomend this to anyone collecting Littlest Pet Shop merchandise

This is yet another great set from LPS. The pets (a zebra, giraffe, and cat) come with all kinds of accessories, so that doubles the safari fun. The pets heads even bobble! They can even wear hats, sunglasses, and other clothing items.
The only concern I have is that with the small pieces, this set is obviously not for babies 3 and under. The pieces could easily be lost, too. I personally think that the set is best for 5 year olds, so that a lot of problems wouldn't happen.
Really fun and a great set!!!

Every child I've given this doll to loves her. She is well made and has great accessories. The Australia zoo web site has so many great Bindi items that are not on amazon, such as dvd's and cd's, clothes and much more- I wish they were available on Amazon~ but it's well worth the extra ship. cost if you have a child that loves Bindi and her message. I feel better about giving Bindi items than the Hannah Montana etc items.

My Little Pony Deluxe Playset - Salon Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great addition to ponyville - it goes with all the new 'maneless' ponies whose hair you can chop and change - this set comes with Cherilee and 5 different wigs, along with (wonderfully) four 'heads' which you can stand in the window of the salon with the other wigs on. There are also two sets of shoes, two new dresses and a couple of coat hangers
It is a great little set, a rather small boutique though. You can sit this one next to the fancy fashions boutique, or mix and match the ponies and wigs with the new ice cream parlour (which I think comes with toola roola) or with the ranibow Dash pony set which comes with a couple of wigs itself
Yes, it does have small pieces, but the sets are fabulous, they are colourful, and make a great little village.
My one issue with these new sets is that they don't come with letterboxes which make the other sets excellent fun and really make them into a village type atmosphere
These ponyville sets are innovative, imaginative, and great fun for kids. My girls have been playing with them for years with only one problem with one set in all that time. The pieces do go missing which is annoying as they are so small - but they are well worth it. Kids love them and play with them endlessly
