It took my husband two hours to put it together and he was astounded that all the holes matched up! The furniture is nice and sturdy. It's great that it's wooden and I'm sure our granddaughter is going to be thrilled. She wanted her Barbies to fit and this is huge.

(More customer reviews)the last christmas of 06 i wanted one thing, and that was a doll house. i am 12 and knew that dollhouses were sort of babyish, and i hoped for one that was built for older children. on christmas eve, the day i visit my grandma for presents, my one wish came true. i recived a rather large box wrapped in blue snowman paper. me, being the small size that i am could not hold the box. i finally unwrapped it, and i found that my one christmas wish had come true. a big dollhouse that i can design as many times as i want-- and this christmas of 07, i hope to get the master bedroom, and bathroom. and best of all, my grandma told me to count on it.

Family Dollhouse Review

(More customer reviews)This dollhouse is built to withstand the abuse of the most rambunctious of toddlers. Solid wood contruction and masterly crafted. The only negative would be the ceiling height between each floor. (A little lower in height than other houses preventing access of larger doll families.) It is still one of the best on the market and a great value when compared to other wooden and plastic houses in the same price range. A wonderful toy that will last a lifetime.

It includes furnishings, almost too many. Some of the furnishings are of a lesser quality, but I consider these to be minor defects. In addition to play value, it looks really nice in my daughter's room.

Dora's Kitchen Island - Dora the Explorer Talking House Review

(More customer reviews)Like most people, we bought the Dora House for our daughters for Christmas. We were bummed out to discover the furniture was no where to be found. Instead of paying hugely inflated prices on some websites, we waited...and waited for the furniture to be stocked in stores. FINALLY, the day came (in February) when we found the dining room and bedroom. What a BUMMER! Yes, the tabe does a cool conversion thing, but none of the people can sit at the table. It's almost like the furniture sets are too small for the people. The bunk bed set is a bummer too. The bed looks like a single twin bed. You push a button and the top bed pops up to uncover a second bed underneath. Pretty cool at first, then you realize you can barely fit a doll on the bottom bed. Also, if you put a doll on the top bunk, the weight of the doll pushes the "spring loaded" bed down. My daughters LOVE dollhouses and they are completely UNinterested in this set. I recommend Fisher Price Loving Family Doll House sets.

Dora's Bathroom Furniture Pack - Dora the Explorer Talking House Review

(More customer reviews)Dont get me wrong, my daughter loves this dora house stuff, but i just have a problem with the space they give you to put all the bathroom stuff into. It all fits, but with no room to spare. The OTHER PROBLEM IS that the door to the shower comes off easily, but it does snap back on just as easily. My daughter likes the fact that the shower turns into a bath, though, and she does love to make dora go "potty" in the potty that has a lift up toilet top! That to me is a plus when the toys have little extras like that!

Mayberry Manor Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday. It arrived within two days and was extremely easy to put together. All the pieces slot into place so it is just as easy to dismantle, but is sturdy enough for children to play with. I am very impressed with the finish of the house. The sash windows open and shut, and stay shut with magnets. My daughter opens the roof herself and takes it off to make the front path. We bought 3 sets of furniture for the house (drawing room, kitchen and bedroom) and you really don't need any more, although we'll probably also get the children's bedroom. The accessories are wonderful with fantastic attention to detail, eg. the kitchen has milk bottles for the fridge and a slice of toast in the toaster; the chairs have tie-on cushions - and all made out of wood and fabric rather than plastic. The family is cute (although not currently available on Amazon; we bought it separately). They are primarily wood but are jointed so that can stand, sit, dance etc. The gift was a huge success and I expect she will be playing with it for many years.

Mattel Barbie the Diamond Castle Princess Alexa Doll Review

(More customer reviews)Alexa doll has the prettiest singing voice out of the two barbies. Her dress sinches in the back to create a dark blue skirt. Unlike the Liana doll, her legs are normal barbie legs and is a normal barbie. Heart glitters when she sings, also when you push an extra button on her back. To make her sing, press her hand. I bought both barbies and it is really fun when they sing together, but if you can only choose one, choose Alexa.
She is by far the prettiest in looks and sining, dress is removable, and has more "special touches" than Liana.

(More customer reviews)This is a very large, very pretty dollhouse. The girls love it. However, in the description it does say it is made of wood, which lead me to believe that the house is made of wood. The frame of the house is, but the walls and floors are basically just cardboard and the stairs are cheap plastic. The stickers that mark the pieces for assembly rip off the decorations on the cardboard, making the house flawed from the start. I'm not sure how well this will hold up with heavy play, I would think it will only take one time of a child trying to climb into it or falling against it for the cardboard to get bent or creased or just break out all together. The furniture in the house is real wood, and very nice. The house is HUGE, my daughter is 4 and very tall and she cannot reach into the attic without a stool. So, IF the house lasts long enough, it will grow with your child.
