(More customer reviews)I can't help myself, I just love these, I bought them for my daughter and (4) and she has really got off her pony phase and into Mermaids. They are so much more appealing in doll form than the Barbie (Elina) doll of the series. They have very anime style faces of them - quite extreme but they look exactly like they do in the movie. There is another set of them which you can also buy (also in the movie) and a great little castle thingy to go with it. All pieces seem to be hard enough wearing to resist little fingers breaking things too quickly. Great colours, appealing faces and just like they appear in the movie!

Suffice it to say, these dolls may be repro but they are even better than vintage as they are brand new. From head to toe, Barbie and Ken are dressed to perfection in their 1959 duds. No kidding, everything is totally like the vintage dolls. If your original Barbie mysteriously disappeared somewhere, get this gift set and you have her back in all her glory with her favorite guy, Ken by her side.
Vintage stuff is great but with this set, you cannot tell the difference.

(More customer reviews)I put off buying one of these dolls before Christmas. Then next thing I knew they were all sold out and looked like I missed my chance. Until I found this one for sale on Amazon. Which by the way happened to arrive right on my birthday so it was a special treat!

I have to say this doll is even more amazing to see in person! Mattel really outdid themselves on the design of this doll. The first thing that catches your eye is her dress, on the computer screen I thought the doll's dress was a blue color, but seeing it for myself it has this wonderful royal purple color to it, my favorite color, so that was even better!
Another thing is, it's been years since I have bought a Barbie doll, but last time I did, the African-American dolls seem to have more of a regular Barbie doll with a dark tan look to them. But they really did a nice job in sculpting this doll to give her a real ethnic appearance, she has a very pretty face.
This is a wonderful doll to get for someone, or yourself, if you're looking for something to commemorate the Millennium, which is the only one anyone alive now will ever see, I think getting this doll is one of the best ways!

Bratz Boyz Funk Out Koby Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased Koby for my little next door neighbor and she loved him. He may look too plain of the web photo, but is a real nice looking doll in real life. He has a very nice looking face and short hair.
I should have bought one for myself, as I've had many comments from doll collectors and other girls who love the Bratz dolls that he (Koby)looks like me! +_+ ???!! (compliment/insult?!)

The Bratz Boyz are more realistic in the fashion sense than Barbie's Ken, they come with two outfits, have hair, include lots of accesories boys wear in real life (cell phone, backpack, hats, watches, neckchains, etc.). The best thing is the shoes are actually the doll's feet, so little girls won't loose them.
I might even recommend the Bratz Boys dolls to boys! They look cool, masculine, fashion concious and and very today.

Paradise Horses Black Western Horse Poseable Horse Review

(More customer reviews)I got this for my 6 year old horse lover and she rated it "much more fun than 5". She thinks it's more "like a real horse" than the other plastic ones from Target's American Girl knock-off line. It was packaged beautifully so the straps wouldn't leave an indent on the horse and it's stuffed and covered in velvety fabric that is lifelike. The legs move easily and the accessories seem sturdy. My only complaint is that you'd need a grown man or a set of vice grips to pry open the mouth, and even then, it only slightly opens and is just painted pink inside. Not a huge deal, but results in me having to stop drinking my morning coffee and reading the paper every 5 minutes to pry the darn thing open so he can "eat". Overall, though, for a true horse-lover, this is superior to others out there and my daughter didn't just jump for joy when she received it, she vibrated!

(More customer reviews)My daughter and I had a battle at one point about Bratz, she liked the funky style, but I couldn't accept their attire and over the top makeup. We were at Target and saw the masquerade dolls and she wanted this one. After giving it a look over, I felt this was a good compromise between different than barbie, but still age appropriate for her. The only issue I had was that there were several knotted strings in the dress and even with careful snipping, they left a few snags in the material, otherwise, it is a doll that my daughter has taken a liking to and wants to get her friends in the future.

Dance 'N Flex Barbie Review

Her body is completely made of the same soft flex material dolls like Jewel Girl and Jam N Glam use for their bendable bellybutton waists so you can bend her about (ala gumby) in almost anyway possible.
There are a few bad things about her though..
1. Flex material is very prone to become dirty calling for frequent cloth baths.
2. She is somewhat limited in poses in an odd way. For one, She can't sit down.
3. If bent in to too extreme positions the wires in her arms may eventually come out.
The pros however definetly outway the cons. She has an unusually lovely face, outfit, and hair. Her packaging is excellent as well so she is most definetly recommended to collectors and this doll, due to her somewhat fragile nature may likely become rare as years pass.
Don't miss her.
