(More customer reviews)Love the game, its soo fun as long as you play without time (see the game you will understand) Its like clue on a train with a lot more options. I loved clue, this takes clue to a whole new level. Making the game much more interesting and challenging.
Just watch shipping. I put the wrong thing in shipping and ended up paying more for shipping than the game costs.. given that its a $50 game. $53 for shipping seems a bit much to me. Especially since it still took a week after ordering to get to me.

He also loves to do art projects of just about any variety--painting, play-doh, coloring, cutting, gluing, drawing, assembling--you name it. My wife and I are also big fans of Melissa and Doug products. There was no question that this was a must-buy. Overall, this was a good buy for the money.
Like most M&D products, the quality of the wood is excellent. Everything was solid and cut, fitted and sanded properly. When I opened the paint (which was actually quite difficult to do), I found it to be mostly dried out. Maybe that's why it was hard to open. No worries, I just added a few drops of water and mixed well (but it did take some extra unanticipated time). There weren't really any step-by-step instructions, but they're really not necessary. The kids just want to paint, put the stickers on, glue, assemble, and play (he couldn't wait to assemble the wheels). We painted the train in sections by color, letting each color dry before starting the next. After we painted, we applied the stickers. The stickers seemed to be just a hair to big for the surfaces, as the edges of the stickers would stick over the edges of the wood. I would recommend having a grown-up trim the stickers with a fine blade after application. Otherwise, the stickers may come loose around the edges.
Another recommendation: cut the train tracks off of the sides of the box, and tape them together end-to-end with clear packing tape. It's not a very long track, but my son doesn't care. He loves the movie, "The Polar Express," especially the part where the train goes over the frozen lake. So I also took the extra piece of blue cardboard from the inside of the packaging, and taped it to the end of the track so his train can go from the tracks to the "ice."
In the end, this was a good buy, so don't hesitate. The bottom line is, my kid loves it, and if yours is as train-obsessed, he/she will, too. It was fun to do the project (for both of us), and he loves to play with the train, which (aside from the stickers) is pretty durable.

And its a good price, too. We added a few add-ons to make it perfect for our daughter (she loves the crossing expansion and school busses).

Since then we have tried to find toys, pillows, blankets, and all the other things that go with cartoons these days (tired of Dora and Sponge Bob). Finally, in a last-ditch effort to find that gift that will send him over-the-top, we searched and found out that they were releasing Dinosaur Train toys on August 1st. So on July 27th we ordered as many as we could and they arrived today, just as Amazon said, which is 2 days before the big party. We ordered the entire set of cars and figures, the train a 3-piece sets. Simply amazing in the details, the durability and just fantastic. We hope our son is as excited when he opens the box, as we have been when we ordered and received them today. Thank you sooo much for finally coming out with the Dinosaur Train toys. Now we are planning to get the remaing things, such as the plush toys, train track and interactive figures over the course of the holiday season.

What can you say, if you break a piece of your Bachmann Garden G scale railroad track, this is the place to go. Hammond's provided me great service, and sent the track priority mail. It arrived very quickly.
BUT and it's a BIG BUT, they don't include a track clip. If you are replacing track, keep the old clip. If you are extending track, this may be the best deal but you'll need to find the clips that hold the track together elsewhere.
Overall, five star! Just be armed with knowledge. Oh, and I only gave it two stars on durability, because Bachmann track is cheap and cheezy! It's no reflection on the seller. If you want real track for outdoor apps, go with LGB.

Dinosaur Train - Collectible Conductor With Train Car Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this along with two other cars and the main train for my daughter for her birthday, she LOVES Dinosaur Train. I'm pretty please with it. It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be and the cars seem like they aren't made up to the finest standards but for the price, it's a really cute toy. My daughter loves them and the detail on the figures is great. All of the dinosaurs really resemble the characters from the show which is really nice, I hate getting toys only to find that the characters look nothing like they're suppose to. I gotta say though, it would have been nice if they had made the holes on the bottom of the feet sized to match the pegs that are suppose to fit in the on the carts, I read about this problem in another review and I have to say that it's spot on. You have to bend the legs and you feel like your going to break the figures to get them on and they never really ever go on. If i had to buy it again, I'm not sure I would but my daughter loves it so much that I can look past a few flaws.
