It took my husband two hours to put it together and he was astounded that all the holes matched up! The furniture is nice and sturdy. It's great that it's wooden and I'm sure our granddaughter is going to be thrilled. She wanted her Barbies to fit and this is huge.

(More customer reviews)the last christmas of 06 i wanted one thing, and that was a doll house. i am 12 and knew that dollhouses were sort of babyish, and i hoped for one that was built for older children. on christmas eve, the day i visit my grandma for presents, my one wish came true. i recived a rather large box wrapped in blue snowman paper. me, being the small size that i am could not hold the box. i finally unwrapped it, and i found that my one christmas wish had come true. a big dollhouse that i can design as many times as i want-- and this christmas of 07, i hope to get the master bedroom, and bathroom. and best of all, my grandma told me to count on it.

Family Dollhouse Review

(More customer reviews)This dollhouse is built to withstand the abuse of the most rambunctious of toddlers. Solid wood contruction and masterly crafted. The only negative would be the ceiling height between each floor. (A little lower in height than other houses preventing access of larger doll families.) It is still one of the best on the market and a great value when compared to other wooden and plastic houses in the same price range. A wonderful toy that will last a lifetime.

It includes furnishings, almost too many. Some of the furnishings are of a lesser quality, but I consider these to be minor defects. (More customer reviews)Many years back I built an extraordinary dollhouse for my own personal use and enjoyment, and everyone who sees it can't say enough good things about it. My older granddaughter, a few months shy of three, is much too young for that dollhouse, which has very delicate furniture and furnishings. I decided to build a very sturdy dollhouse for Jordan, and to furnish it with good, durable, plastic furniture. I was particularly attracted to the Dora dollhouse furniture line, not only because they appeared to be very user friendly, but mostly because they had things that would enthrall a small child. The Dora bathroom set turned out to be one of Jordan's favorites. The shower (large enough for most dollhouse sized dolls), plays music and activates a light, all with the touch of a small outside button. The babysitter set has a changing table with a "turnaround" top, activated (again) by the pushing of a button. My granddaughter loves to push the button, thereby activating the top of the table, as well as its lamp and music.
The dollhouse has made a tremendous hit with my granddaughter. She constantly begs her parents to let her visit Nana, and when she does, she spends HOURS playing with all the furnishings.

(More customer reviews)My 7 year old daughter received this gift today and absolutely loves it! I was skeptical about how well it would work but was pleasantly surprised. The filling machine is well designed and easy to use. The bear "skins" are equipped with zippers so they do not require any sewing. The small tools store inside the fill machine so they are easy to keep track of.
She was very proud to complete the 3 bears herself and is already playing with all of them. My only qualm with the kit is that I found 2 misspellings on the wish hearts that you insert inside the bears- incorrect usage of your vs. you're. Overall, I think this toy is an excellent choice for young children and can certainly rival the facility at the mall.

I have bought Bratz for years for my daughter and all her friends so I know for a fact this was a $10 doll not a $30 doll like Amazon is charging. I went shopping and found the same dolls at Walmart for $10.44........1/3 the cost. I bought my neice 3 of them and am returning the Amazon one. It works just fine and it is very "fashionable" the only thing I would change if I could would be the size and the flap. The purse should be a tad bit larger. Some of the webkinz pets have to be "stuffed" in the purse due to its size. Secondly, I would like to see a webkinz purse or other "carrying" bag that allows the pet's head to stick out so it can "breathe." My daughter insists on leaving the flap open so that her pet doesn't get "smothered."
Otherwise it's very colorful and cute and I believe my daughter has decided to use the purse to store her trading cards which works perfectly.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday. It arrived within two days and was extremely easy to put together. All the pieces slot into place so it is just as easy to dismantle, but is sturdy enough for children to play with. I am very impressed with the finish of the house. The sash windows open and shut, and stay shut with magnets. My daughter opens the roof herself and takes it off to make the front path. We bought 3 sets of furniture for the house (drawing room, kitchen and bedroom) and you really don't need any more, although we'll probably also get the children's bedroom. The accessories are wonderful with fantastic attention to detail, eg. the kitchen has milk bottles for the fridge and a slice of toast in the toaster; the chairs have tie-on cushions - and all made out of wood and fabric rather than plastic. The family is cute (although not currently available on Amazon; we bought it separately). They are primarily wood but are jointed so that can stand, sit, dance etc. The gift was a huge success and I expect she will be playing with it for many years.
