Venom Highly Detailed Vinyl Model Kit Review

Venom Highly Detailed Vinyl Model Kit
Average Reviews:

This Vinyl model was well designed and sculpted. Although it says this model kit is ment for ages 13 and under, it is not. It's more like 13 and up. An exacto knife or hobby knife will be need due to trimming that will need done due to overlay leftover from the molding process. Glue will also be needed like every other model. Acrylic paints are you best bet on a model like this not your average model paint. Hairdryer can also be helpful since this is vinyl sometimes in packing the pieces get bent out of shape but because of vinyls properties it can be heated by an average hair dryer and bent back into shape. Also, gluing this kit together before painting is a must due to seams on the legs and arms. (You will see what I mean.) You will be proud to have this model as part of your collection, or just as a great addition to your hom if your a comic fan. I hope you find this info helpful. Enjoy.

This was my first model kit to build in almost 10 years. I was impressed by the simplicity of putting the parts together,as almost no fitting was required at all. Everything went together as you would expect them to. Attention to detail on the part of Revell was very nice.

I was hoping that this product was just what I needed for a beginner in the model world who loved jets. It was perfect. He enjoyed it and it was very easy to put together. I liked the fact that I did not have to buy extra paints and glue (Yeah!!! Nothing to clean up except for the plastic casings.)

Revell 1:48 A10 Warthog Review

I just finished building this kit today and finally breathed a sigh of relief! It should really be a Skill Level 3 kit. The fit is terrible in the wings and engine nacelles, but the most annoying fit problem for me was with the anti-sway brackets on the pylons. They don't fit...That's all there is to it. Be prepared to have to sand down all 22 of the brackets. Even then I had to leave some of them off because I couldn't get the weapons payload to attach to the pylons with the anti-sway brackets in the way. I'm still a rookie when it comes to using filler, but I had to use it on this kit and, luckily, it came out not too bad. When the model was completed, it looked rather nice. That's why I would give this kit 3 stars out of 5. I've said it earlier but it must be said again: You will HAVE to use contour putty and do lots of sanding for this kit to look even remotely nice.

Revell 1:39 Wright Flyer "First Powered Flight" Review

This Revell Wright Flyer is a very strong product. Some steps were a little bit hard for me. It is not very hard for me to make this airplane.
Also this model comes with a packet that helps you build a scene with the piecesif you want. It comes with string if you want to put it on. I didn't.
This model turned out very nice for me
