(More customer reviews)I applaud the pose and quality of sculpting in getting back to the heart of the character. It's a modern update on the 1st Eidos design, with the funny bats and atlantis flying creature. The face is a terrible disappointment. It looks nothing like the package art, and truly, if you look at the prototype art on the packaging, this toy's head looks nothing like it. If you're playing with it, it doesn't matter but if you're displaying it (and come on, how many of you collectors plan to play with it?), it won't be the center of your toy collection. For the price I would have expected better. The 12" figure that talks is a better rendition and better investment IMHO. I don't know if it's the sculpt or the painting but I was disappointed.

GI Joe 25th Anniversary Snake Eyes Action Figure Review

(More customer reviews)Okay, I'm a man in my early thirties who played with G.I.Joes back in the 1980s. I used to have to listen to the adults around me talk about how when they were kids, their G.I.Joes were the size of Ken dolls, and had realistic facial hair. So what, I liked my G.I.Joes! Besides, being roughly four inches tall made it easier to have them fight in all their various land, air, and sea vehicles (the 80s really shoved a lot of toys at us, now that I think about it).
"Enough nostalgia" you say, "Tell me about the toy today!" I'm happy to say that the 25th Anniversary G.I.Joe action figures are still pretty cool. They're still very poseable, and even come with little black bases to stand on (they even have their code names on them). It looks like they changed the waist/torso movement a bit, but it's an improvement, in my opinion. Nice level of detail, the same amount of durability from back then, and a few weapons to choose from.
For you collectors out there, the package illustration is a nice throwback to back in the day, only with silver trim around the cardboard. And yes, on the back they still have the cut-out files!
The bottomline is these are fun action figures that every boy (or girl, why not?) should get a chance to play with. I always found that they encouraged creativity among kids, I think a lot of it has to do with their small size and poseability; it's fun to take little people and act out crazy scenarios with them. When you're a kid, you can do that, but when you're an adult, you make sure no one's watching! And for those of you who don't know, Snake Eyes is one of the coolest characters in the G.I.Joe pantheon. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Revell 1:39 Wright Flyer "First Powered Flight" Review

(More customer reviews)This Revell Wright Flyer is a very strong product. Some steps were a little bit hard for me. It is not very hard for me to make this airplane.
Also this model comes with a packet that helps you build a scene with the piecesif you want. It comes with string if you want to put it on. I didn't.
This model turned out very nice for me
