(More customer reviews)I bought this set for my four year old daughter after reading the reviews from Amazon customers. She loves Winx and she wanted Winx toys, but I really didn't want to get her the bigger dolls (she already has plenty of Barbies and to get all of the Winx girls for the collection is somewhat of a challenge where we live). I liked this set and so did she.
When I got it the first thing I told her was "This is very DELICATE! If you play too rough with the dolls their arms and legs are going to fall off!" Every time I see her playing with her set I remind her of the whole delicate-issue. It had minimized the arm/leg falling incidents, and she has learned how to carefully reattach the fallen limbs herself (except for FLora and Stella's legs because the skirts get in the way, so I help her with those).
All in all, she loves the toy. I really like it as well. It has everything she needs for Winx adventures. All 5 Winx Club girls plus one Witch. The School structure has their 5 bedrooms, a classroom, what looks like a library, and a kitchen. For the price of approximately $30, you can't ask for more than that. I have not seen a more complete set in a long time. They also sell other mini Winx dolls in Fairy custume (the girls in the set have their "civilian" clothes on) which you can purchase if you want and fit perfectly with the set. I wish they made the Specialist (boys) dolls in this size as well, and the other 2 Witches, and teachers. Those would just be a wonderful additions to this playset.
This set is deffinitely not for young children or children who are not careful with their toys. It has small parts and the dolls are delicate. But if your child can handle that and loves Winx, this will be a wonderful toy at a great price. It is a good toy for pretend play, and for the Winx fan in your house it will be lots of fun.
