Disney Sleeping Beauty Shimmer Princess and Prince Phillip Gift Set Review

(More customer reviews)This combination of Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip are detailed and dressed liked the classic movie. The dolls articulate like standar Barbie Dolls at the shoulders, hips and neck. Sleeping Beauty has soft synthetic hair whereas Prince Phillip has molded plastic hair. Clothing is made of microfiber synthetic and the boots are easily removeable.
These dolls have no special accessories such as combing brushes, scepters or a sword. Durability is solid and the clothing appears to have the potential to get tattered in time.
The only major negative is the difficulty of removing the figures from the box. This takes an adult to remove
them from the packaging. The figures are attached by plastic coated wires, plastic tags
and the Princess' hair is affixed to a complex of plastic and thread. Who comes up with packaging like this?
Overall, this is a wonderful set that your daughter will love.
My daughter loves her dolls.

Aurora Plush 12 inches Lesser Panda Flopsie Review

(More customer reviews)I adore red pandas. Naturally I have collected a few plush versions of this adorable creature.
This one by Aurora is a very soft and squishy addition. I am generally not a huge fan of this type of fur, but it does feel soft. I like the fact that he sits on his bum. He is also bean filled giving him some weight. The design is quite accurate compared to real pandas, but the tail could have been thicker and longer.

I was concerned because she was less expensive than others that I saw online, but don't let that concern you. Lampchop is beautiful and soft. She looks just like I thought she should. She has really long eyelashes and a sweet face. She is cuter than the picture. Great buy.

Disney Princess Bath Beauty Sleeping Beauty Doll Review

(More customer reviews)I got this for my daughter last year as part of her Christmas present and she was playing with it in the bath this morning. So as far as staying power - both in terms of quality of toy and of maintaining interest - I give it high marks. Oddly, the doll that I bought is not the doll currently pictured here. Amazon is showing the banner indicating that this is indeed the item I bought, but it looks like it was updated. So to be clear, I'm talking about the approximately Barbie's sized Aurora doll with bunny that is suitable for bath. Aurora is wearing a pink bathing suit with a rubbery pink skirt that is removable, and both her bodice and skirt have a small section that change colors (from dark pink to light pink) in warm water. Her hair has a pink section that similarly changes (from pink to blue). There's nothing shimmery about her, and the only "accessory" item is the bunny. Looks like the picture on this item: Disney Princess Royal Bath Beauty Sleeping Beauty Doll.
The color change is certainly not perfect - it takes some seriously cold water to turn the colors back. When we come back to the bath the next day, Aurora is dry but it generally still hasn't gotten cold enough and so they are still the warm water colors. My daughter doesn't mind though, and really doesn't play with the doll for the color change. She plays with her because Aurora is her favorite princess and now Aurora can learn to swim, cliff dive from the side of the tub, make friends with mermaids, and the play goes on and on. She loves her so much she's getting Disney Princess Bath Beauty Belle Doll and Disney Princess Royal Bath Beauty Ariel Doll for Christmas this year to join Aurora! :)

(More customer reviews)This panda seems to have the most accurate face of all the stuffed pandas available on this site. It doesn't have those lame white googly-eyes that stuffed animals often have. It's the perfect size and it's so unbelievably cute. I've had mine for a year now and it's still fluffy and in one piece. If this was 35 dollars I still would have bought it. (Durable, fun, and I rated it high in terms of educational value because it really looks like a young panda. I realize it's not as educational as a book or something, but still.)

Disney Princess Magic Fairy Lights Sleeping Beauty Doll Review

(More customer reviews)This is a really cute sleeping beauty doll. It comes with three tiny faeries from the movie. When you put one on to her hand, the doll lights up. If you put the pink one on, it lights pink, the blue makes blue lights, and the green does pink and blue. Pressing the button on the dolls chest also produces pink and blue lights.
It's not as 'amazing' as it first looks to be. Her dress doesn't change color as it says, there are just colored lights underneath, so it's only where the lights are that you really see the dress a different color.
The dolls right arm is fixed with a 90 degree angle at the elbow...you cannot straighten it out, so the picture is quite misleading. That's the hand that you must put the faerie on.
The fairies are quite difficult for a little one to get to work. The slip over her hand, and the contact points on the faerie and the doll itself must match up for it to light up. In order for them to match up, you really have to push the faerie onto the dolls hand to get it far enough to reach the contacts. My daughter, at almost 6, can get them on, but a younger child may not be able to.
In all, it's a cute doll, but it's a little misleading, and a little difficult to use for the little ones.

(More customer reviews)Well, I bought this doll, since it was Disney's Sleeping Beauty. I know my niece likes Aurora, so I thought it would be a good choice for a Christmas gift. When I got this doll home, I looked it over a little more thoroughly, and it is a pretty doll. The dress looks like it might stand a bit of "abuse," but I'm not sure how much. From what I've seen, she looks durable, and that's the important part. I only wish the skirt of the dress was a little more consistent with the "sparkling" pattern--it's only on the front half, so it looks a little tacky. Overall, it was a decent buy.
