It is very cute and although he has not gotten to play with it yet since it is a gift he will receive soon I feel like he will enjoy it and it will hold up. My only disappointment was the HAIR. It is straight! Though I realize there can be those of African American heritage with straighter hair the doll would have looked much more like an African American baby with curly hair.

She has already named the doll, and she has incorporated her into her Barbie collection. The accessories are beautiful, the clothes are very nice --- this doll is durable, too, as my 10 y.o. is quite rough on dolls, especially with hair! But this doll here ... is holding up to the test. :-)

(More customer reviews)These dolls are nice. They don't break, have earrings, inside the soft body there's a plastic crinkly foundation that you can bend all directions. Proportions are a little strange, and the hat doesn't stay on. Clothes are cute. Hair is this interesting yarn that sometimes pieces break off the ends, but the head is so full of hair and it's so long that you don't notice the missing pieces. My girls get these dolls out occasionally, but they don't play with them all the time, like they do with their Lee Middleton dolls. I'd say it's a good one to take on trips and just a fun break from barbies. Also each girl comes with the positive description. This one is a serious student.

(More customer reviews)My 2 year old has many dolls (including the corelle tidoo) but this is by far her favorite. It is the perfect size and looks like a real baby, and there is plenty of room for imagination for years to come. We ended up getting her all versions (each ethnicity) to help her be "culturally aware." For the price you can't get a better doll. The only possible con is that the doll is scented. It doesn't bother my daughter or me but someone sensitive to smells may be bothered by it.

(More customer reviews)This was the first doll we bought our daughter and have bought more of the 14 inch Disney Princess Toddler dolls because of this one. It is just her size, she has the ability to carry it around and love on it with out it being a hazard because larger dolls get in her way. The shoes stay on without problem as does the tiara and dress, yet still easy enough that with supervision she can un/re-dress(dress and shoes only) her doll without help.
