(More customer reviews)I had purchased one of these toys for my grand daughter when she was just 4 months old. It turned out to be her most cherished toy and occupied her for long periods of time. After putting her in her car seat we would plop this on her tummy and she would smile and talk to it! We named him "Ollie" Octopus and whenever we talked about Ollie, she would laugh and look for him. This toy is made better than any other toy of this type. When May was 3 years old her brother was born and she passed Ollie over to him and he has loved him just as much. My recent purchase of this toy was for my great niece for this past Christmas. She was a preemie (born in March) and was just sitting up and wanting to get her hands on everything. I actually pulled this out at Thanksgiving so she had something new to occupy her. Well, she fell in love with "Ollie II" at first sight! She loves this toy and spends hours talking to him and dragging him around! I highly recommend this toy to anyone as a new baby toy. I am sure that any little one will fall in love with him! It is a very tactile toy...many textures and crinkle sounds...a must for any baby!!!
