Bratz Funky Fashion Makeover - Rock Angelz - Jade Review

(More customer reviews)The first thing I have to say about this Jade is how gorgeous a job the manufacturers did with her look! She's perfect just as a collector's display item (which is why I bought her) and while I can't attest to how much fun this toy is to makeover, I can tell that there are endless possibilities with this toy since Jade is just so, well, big! From hips to head, she stands nearly 14 inches, with a full head of hair to style. Jade also comes with 2 different colors of glitter, clear lip gloss, red nail color, and a silver glue-like substance that is supposed to be applied to the silver sticker tatoos after the tatoos are in place. (Contrary to what the maufactuer's description says, Jade did NOT come with hair clips though an inexpensive pack of mini-clips purchased seperately would certainly do the trick.)
Because of all the makeup and the finger dexterity needed to apply the tatoos (you have to peel off and apply a white stcker to the doll's surface and kind of "punch out" the design to get it to stick) I would recommended this toy for anyone age 7 or 8 and older.
One cool decorating tip: apply the smaller tatoo stickers to the black star base to create a dramatic look!

When I came across this toy I originally wanted to buy it as a stocking stuffer but after research I saw that it was about a foot tall. I ordered it anyway since the price was really good. (only $[...]) It was shipped out quickly and arrived today. When I opened the box I was shock to see how well it look. I would buy this as a doll styling head any day for my little girls. I'm sure they are going to be happy to see it under the tree this Christmas. I will update my review once they have played with it. I'm already satisfied. Outstanding price, outstanding timing, and a beautiful doll head that allows my girls to play with makeup and polish. At age 2 and 4 they love to paint their nails so I'm sure they are going to love this doll. I ordered 2 so both girls would have one. I wish I would have ordered 2 more to give as gifts to their friends.

(More customer reviews)Overall, I think this is a well made product. The doll has a lot of hair which is great for styling. I would recommed for an older child. My 7-year old daughter was excited about the color, but to me it just makes the hair stiff and harder to style. The styling wand does is not very effective for applying the color, so she uses her fingers which can be messy.

(More customer reviews)I got this for my 3 and 5 year old nieces for Christmas. It was a big hit and they played with it for hours. I didn't realize that it does not come with make-up. It does come with hair accessories and gel, but what my nieces really wanted to do was apply makeup. I gave them some of my old makeup and problem solved. If you are buying this for a little girl who likes to play with makeup, just be aware that this does not come with it.

Barbie Nikki Styling Head Review

(More customer reviews)My 7 year old daughter likes this styling head and I like that she's not a typical blond "Barbie" head. My daughter has dark hair, so I wanted a styling head that looked more like her than Barbie. Unfortunately, the head was smaller than I expected and is very light weight, which means you need to hold onto her when brushing her hair. She isn't heavy enough to stand on her own and take the pulling. But my daughter is still having lots of fun with her. She was a little less costly compared to other styling heads, so for the price its' a good buy.
