(More customer reviews)This was a Christmas gift for our 2 year old but we are all having fun with it. It's really well made and we like that it is a full body puppet. It's small enough for small hands to play with and work the arms. You can't move it's mouth but you can move the head and both arms and the sword is strong enough for a tough battle (still soft fabric but resilient enough for a tough pirate battle). And yep, I think it's very educational - for the imagination!

(More customer reviews)my 10 month old twins love this hand puppet - they are endlessly entertained by the fake-growling oscar impression. the convenient hand puppet makes it really easy to take along for mealtimes and travel. for some reason, they respond more to oscar than to the cookie monster - perhaps it's because of his eyebrows! anyhow, this is a high-quality puppet and the only thing i can think of as lacking is that the mouthpiece is a little hard to move at the same time as the arms.

She enjoyed creating her own puppets. She loves hers and takes them everywhere she goes. My family enjoys the puppets as well. There are small pieces, so little ones need to be supervised. (More customer reviews)I have a 1 year old daughter who loves it when I make puppets talk to her. I have really had a hard time finding puppet in the local stores, so I decided to turn to the internet. I used to have some Sesame Street puppets when I was a kid and thought that they were great. So I figured this would be a perfect puppet to use with my daughter.
Here's the thing. The opening into the head of this doll is too small to get a grown ups hand into and still be able to operate the puppet with any ease. Also, the mouth is very stiff making it hard to open and close.
The overall look of the puppet is good, but it isn't very user friendly. Needless to say, I am pretty disappointed in this product and wish that I wouldn't have bought it.
