Barbie Collector 2007 SILVER LABEL - Alice in Wonderland - MAD HATTER Review

The face on the doll is (in my opinion) unattractive and the outfit is just essentric which makes the entire package great. The box is in a book shape and plastic which is great for collecting/storage.

Who could forget the Mad Hatter's never-ending tea party in the classic fantasy tale, Alice in Wonderland? In this wonderful representation, Mad Hatter doll appears in a whimsical outfit as topsy-turvy as Wonderland itself: a huge black top hat with floral details, an equally enormous light green bow tie, and a theatrical 3-piece suit in various prints of pink, purple and blue. What a fun, lovable character!

June Birthstone Barbie Review

(More customer reviews)My daughters collect this line of doll, and we own quite a few of these Birthstone Barbies. Pearl, for the month of June, is one of the loveliest of this line. This caucasian version has the most gorgeous shade of brunette hair ever and blue eyes, and I think her creamy colored lace dress sets off this combination perfectly.
Some collector Barbies in this price range have their clothing basted on, but not this line. In fact, these dolls not only have removable dresses, their outfits are actually two pieces: a strappy dress and matching shrug, which is just adorable. Her jewelry is also very cute, and my daughters feel that the jewelry just makes her outfit.
My only complaint about this doll is the back of her hair. No matter how careful you are when removing her from the box, the back of this doll's hair will look like a mess when she is deboxed! We fixed ours easily enough with a chic new shag cut, and now she's cuter than ever. But just be aware of this while deboxing these dolls. (Every Birthstone Barbie we've owned has had this problem!)
Also, just FYI--the doll is on the Model Muse body, which, while lovely and slim, does not have click-bend mechanisms in the knees. So she is very much a collector doll, and not really suited to play. (She can't bend at the knee.) Just be aware of this if you're buying this doll as a gift.

Her heart shaped pendant and heart shaped red fingernail polish are intricate details that add to the fun. In Alice and Wonderland, the Queen of Hearts challenges Alice in a game of croquet. The doll comes with a flamingo croquet stick and hedgehog ball. Also, it's a 2007 Silver Label Doll, which means that there are less that 50,000 pieces produced worldwide.

She is a redhead with light green eyes and has a very cute dog (which I believe is a Yorkie ). I collect Barbies, and own the entire Birthstone Barbie line. But Miss Emerald is my favorite one by far. Most redheaded Barbies use the Mackie Face Sculpt so they tend to look alike. This one features the Steffie face sculpt making it a real gem! Even if you were not born in May, this is a wonderful doll to have. The emerald is thought to bring you a year of eternal love, and protection. It also believed that the stone brings you the gift of clairvoyance.

July Birthstone Barbie Review

(More customer reviews)My daughters have started a doll collection, and they are in love with these Birthstone Barbies. July is no exception. She is indeed a lovely doll. Her dress is well-made, and unlike some of the collector dolls in this price range, it is actually removable with snaps (not basted on). Her outfit is actually a strappy dress with a shrug, which I find is a nice detailed touch, especially for the price. The beaded jewelry is also pretty, and the girls think it's what makes the doll.
Both girls are more cat fans than dog fans, so they can take or leave the dog, but I personally think the pet dog is rather cute.
My main complaint with this doll (and the others we have in this line) is that when you remove the doll from her box, no matter how careful you are, the back of her hair is always a mess. The front looks great! But the back just looks awful, like a rat's nest. I think Mattel could really package their collector dolls a bit better.
Also, for you moms out there--this doll is on the Model Muse body, which is very thin, and her knees do not bend. She is a collector doll, and isn't really suited for play. She can't sit down in a chair and bend her knees, for example.

She was produced in 2007 and is a Silver Label doll (less than 50,000 produced worldwide). Mattel has captured the timeless, whimsical, topsy-turvy world wonderfully. Alice wears a flawless blue ruffled dress and blue high heeled shoes. What I like most about this collection of dolls is their accessories. Alice comes with sidekick, Cheshire Cat. Overall, a great collection piece and also a great doll for any child.

This doll is the PRETTIEST barbie doll I've EVER seen. Her dress is BEAUTIFUUUUL!!!!!!!!! Her makeup is beautiful, her hair is beautiful, her wings are beautiful, her shoes are beautiful...everything about about her is beautiful. I always play with her, she's so much fun to play with.
