(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful doll!!! My daughter loves the american girl dolls and I was told this was an alternative.I liked the fact that the dolls each represent a christian trait.
The differance in this line of dolls and the american girl dolls are that the eyes do not open and close. Also she doesn't have a soft body she is completely vinyl. We love the eyes!! What we didn't like about the doll is that it doesn't sit as well as the american girl dolls. It does sit but not as easily. If we didn't have the american girl doll to compare it to we wouldn't have even noticed.
Being that this line of dolls has been discontinued finding the original clothing line for her has been difficult. The dress that she comes with is absolutely adorable and very well made. She comes with her own little doll size bible. She doesn't not come with a book like the american girl dolls. You need to purchase them seperately..
I highly recommend the doll and the books.

Dolls of the World Swedish Barbie Review

She is a redhead with light green eyes and has a very cute dog (which I believe is a Yorkie ). I collect Barbies, and own the entire Birthstone Barbie line. But Miss Emerald is my favorite one by far. Most redheaded Barbies use the Mackie Face Sculpt so they tend to look alike. This one features the Steffie face sculpt making it a real gem! Even if you were not born in May, this is a wonderful doll to have. The emerald is thought to bring you a year of eternal love, and protection. It also believed that the stone brings you the gift of clairvoyance.

Madame Alexander 8 Inch International Collection Doll - Scottish Lass Review

(More customer reviews)I am a collector, so I love Madame Alexander Dolls. This doll is a bit of a disappointment. Her costume in not authentic. The plaid socks are not worn with this particular costume. Also, the has Irish curls in the back instead of the Scottish dance bun. The red hair is great. It is almost the same color as my sister's hair.

Norwegian Barbie Dolls of the World Collection Review

Package came much faster than I was quoted and it is in excellent condition!
