Melissa & Doug Fold & Go Barn Review

(More customer reviews)My girls; 4,3,&1 years old; received this for Christmas. It's been a hit. Nothing has broken, even when being played with by 5 horse crazy girls. I purchased Schleich horses to go with it, and most (just not the biggest draft type horses) fit perfectly inside. The animals that came with it are fine, but a few of them are pretty scary with orange/red eyes. The animals I remember coming with it were horse, pig, cow, dog, and turkey. HTH
We've had it now for more than 4 years and it is still played with by our now 8, 7, 5, 2, & 1 year olds. The hinge was finally torn, but was easily replaced. Holding up great.

Barbie® Tawny Walking Horse & Doll Set Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter saw the TV ad and said she wanted it. Obviously, it was her Christmas present. Be sure not only to have the 4 AAA batteries, but also a small Philips screwdriver to open the battery cover. I would also recommend to have rechargeable batteries, because they won't last more than a couple of days of normal-heavy use.
There are a few things that don't work quite well. First, the Barbie doll will not stay on top of the horse after a few seconds once it starts moving. Then, the set includes plastic "carrots" and what seems to be "hay", but the latter actually looks gross.
The horse only works on hard surfaces.
All in all, I'm satisfied because it was my daughter's favorite toy these holidays.

She is just getting into Barbie dolls, and I wanted to get this mostly for storage because it looked like it would hold a lot of Barbies. It is a little bigger than I expected, but it is perfect for our needs. She currently has about 7 Barbies and their accessories in it, and I think it would hold at least 20 more Barbies and their accessories. It is made very well. It has a lot of cool details that you can't see on the picture, like small vents to make sure the contents have air and don't mold, and clear storage pockets on the inside for Barbie shoes, brushes, and clothes. My daughter has really enjoyed playing with it as a play mat, too. She uses it almost daily.

Breyer Wood Corral Review

(More customer reviews)I got 2 fences for my 5 year old's birthday. She plays with them endlessly. She puts dinosaurs in them, "little pony's" and her imagination goes wild. The fences are easy and lightweight to set up, are quite large, and easily fold back together when done. Mega Bloks Farm Review

(More customer reviews)My 17 month old LOVES his new Maga Bloks Farm.
I searched and searched for a farm toy for my son who loves farm animals and got the Alex Toys Rub a Dub Squirters for the Tub - Farm for his first birthday. He plays with them as regular toys (not in the tub) so I wanted him to have a farm for them. But all the ones I came across were either too expensive, or too advance for his age.
This one is great!! affordable, simple, yet colorful and easy for him to play with. I would defnitely recommend it.
However, I do have a couple of things I didn't like so much:
1. it's a little unstable. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the actual farm is really thin (as in, not too deep from front to back) so my son easily knocks it down when playing, even if he is not trying to.
2. you indeed could, technically, "pack-n-go" all the items inside this farm, but not your kid. What I mean is, you have to strategically place each piece inside the farm to actually pack it so it's definitely a task that only the parent could complete.
3. I thought the pieces would blend with my son's other mega bloks but the hue is different, so you can definitely tell which pieces came with this toy (not bad if you want to keep them separate but I thought I should point it out anyway)
All and all this is a great toy and I highly recommend it. My son loves it, and I'm planning on buying other Mega Bloks sets like this (I found out they have a car wash, a fire engine, etc)

"All the horses are flocked. The colors are beautiful. You can play lots of games with them. I like to play horse rescue games. All the compartments have pictures in the background."
I'll add that this set has absolutely enchanted her, to the point where she doesn't play with her larger-sized horses any more. That may change, but this toy is a winner.

The Toob animals are FAR BETTER in quality, and the packaging says they're pthylate and lead-free. The animals are realistic looking, can stand on their own, and are a good size for little hands (and parental purses and pockets). I plan to get the other Toobs, my child has been carrying around his animals all day.
