(More customer reviews)My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter first fell in love with the vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls that her mother has. We started adding the newer dolls with the DVD stories, and she absolutely loves them! The bonus with the new dolls is the long hair that is easily brushed by a little girl. She blends the old and new and has an entire "collection" of Strawberry friends. We have bought the swirl, country, and winter dolls in the newer style. I like these dolls for the same reason I bought the original Strawberry dolls-simple and sweet with no body image or attitude image that Barbie dolls and Bratz dolls have.
