(More customer reviews)My two year old received this for her birthday. She has always been really afraid of the doctor, so we thought this might help. He is the most adorable Elmo I have seen thus far- and believe me- we own quite a few. In contrast to a previous reviewer, I found him extremely sensitive. My daughter has no problem interacting with him. You can't just wipe his nose- he says to BLOW it. This is a great way to teach your child how to properly blow their nose. Elmo came to the doctor with us for her 2yr old check up and it really helped. She was able to listen to Elmo's heartbeat while the doctor listened to hers. She seemed alot more at ease and less afraid. At least this Elmo has teaching ability unlike some of the dancing ones! A must for little Elmo fans!

(More customer reviews)My 22 month old loves this tickle me elmo special edition new tricks. She dances to the music with elmo. I do need to help my daughter with pushing the sensor to activate elmo. She is learning though. We had it for 1 week so far and she loves carrying elmo around.

Potty Elmo Review

(More customer reviews)After some initial trouble getting it out of "store mode" and into "normal play mode" (we had to reinsert the plastic tab and pull it out again a couple of times), we have really had GREAT success with this toy! I have 27 month old twin girls. The first one trained herself at 23 months, and we have been working with the other one on and off since then. She is a HUGE Elmo fan, so when I saw this toy, I HAD to get it! We have had it a few days now, and I am happy to say that teaching Elmo to use the potty has taught my daughter to use the potty! I used this toy, along with a potty training book, and new Elmo Panties as a reward, and it really worked!
The only thing that is a bit tricky for my daughter is when Elmo asks for a drink, you have to trigger a button type thing in his mouth with the cup, and a lot of the time she missed it and I had to help her. But, that was minor. He is SO CUTE and so much fun!

The Original Tickle Me Elmo Review

(More customer reviews)A friend of mine asked me to order this on line, because she did not have a chance to buy it locally. Now, this was for her "pet sitter", a grown woman. The story goes that her family exchanges gifts at Christmas and she told them several times that she wanted one of these. No one ever got it for her. When asked what she wanted by my friend, this is what she asked for. Let's face it folks, we're all different and some of us are more so than others. Anyway, she was absolutely thrilled. I believe the price was higher than allot of places. I personally would not have paid that much for it.

Tickle him once and he'll giggle. Tickle him twice and he'll laugh. Tickle him three times and watch him convulse with laughter! This classic toy started a phenomenon when it was first released and still brings smiles to little ones today. When Elmo's tummy is squeezed, he'll let kids know, "That tickles!" as he breaks out in laughter.

Fisher-Price Hokey Pokey Elmo Review

(More customer reviews)Our 24-mo son really enjoys Hokey Pokey Elmo. Within minutes, he was trying to do the Hokey Pokey (have the camera or videocam handy) and the dog was doing some strange dance around the two of them. Unfortunately, Hokey Pokey Elmo doesn't stand up well to curious toddlers and 7-yr olds. If you have kids in the family who like to bend things to see how they work, then either 1. don't buy this toy, or 2. be prepared to buy another Elmo after the first one breaks. I was surprised at just how fragile Elmo's internal pieces are. The exterior material held up well and Elmo still sings, but after having his leg bent once and arm bent once, his Hokey Pokey days are over. We're choosing option two (buy another).
