Some baby dolls have weird faces, but this doll has a very sweet face. It also has a nice calming fragrance. It is soft and sturdy. The cotton material on the body of the doll does not pill like others do. Great first baby doll that will last many years!

Potty Elmo Review

(More customer reviews)After some initial trouble getting it out of "store mode" and into "normal play mode" (we had to reinsert the plastic tab and pull it out again a couple of times), we have really had GREAT success with this toy! I have 27 month old twin girls. The first one trained herself at 23 months, and we have been working with the other one on and off since then. She is a HUGE Elmo fan, so when I saw this toy, I HAD to get it! We have had it a few days now, and I am happy to say that teaching Elmo to use the potty has taught my daughter to use the potty! I used this toy, along with a potty training book, and new Elmo Panties as a reward, and it really worked!
The only thing that is a bit tricky for my daughter is when Elmo asks for a drink, you have to trigger a button type thing in his mouth with the cup, and a lot of the time she missed it and I had to help her. But, that was minor. He is SO CUTE and so much fun!

Fisher-Price Potty time Elmo Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for my "almost-ready-to-potty-train" daughter hoping it would give her a gentle nudge. She loves Elmo and I thought it would keep her interest. The doll itself is cute and the sounds and comments he makes are cute but whatever sensor is in him to let him know he's on the potty are waaaaaay too exact for a potty-training toddler. My daughter has been saddened several times when she takes Elmo to the potty and sits him down only to be told that its too late. The doll itself doesn't sit well enough on the potty to have a sensor that exact. Perhaps the MOST disappointing factor of this toy is that it said it came with the Potty Elmo DVD when, in fact, it only comes with a "highlights" DVD. I bought this for the DVD and the doll and potty were bonus. Instead, I ended up with a doll that frustrates my toddler and a 15 minute sampler of the DVD I actually wanted.

(More customer reviews)I just received this doll from Amazon. She is adorable and the quality product that Corolle is known for. I bought her for my just-turned 3 year old and have decided she might still be a little young for Marie. Marie is a big 17" size and with the voice recorder feature, I think my daughter will enjoy her more next year. For the AMAZING price, I will be putting Marie away and bringing her out next holiday season. This doll was one of the top picks for toys in 2008 and I still can't quite understand why she is listed at such a steep discount! I would highly recommend her at the discounted price and encourage people to JUMP on this deal before it goes away!!
