(More customer reviews)I have a friend who bought a small Corolle doll for her daughter and just loved all the hair on it, so when I was looking for a new doll for my daughter, I chose one too. She is so cute and is big/small enough to be manageable for my 3 1/2 year old to move in and out of a stroller, etc. I thought I read somewhere that you could style this dolls hair with styling tools like a curling iron, but I am too nervous to try. The hair is pretty, but does tangle a bit and might be hard for a child to keep nice. She's so cute that I'm willing to help with that- gives me an excuse to play with her too!!!

I do not have the advantage of living nearby, but according to my sister-in-law my niece fell in love immediately with this doll and is perfect for her to carry even as she is still getting the hang of walking. My sister-in-law also loves that she can just throw the doll in the washer after a rough day of drooling on and being dragged through the house.
What a great doll and I am so happy that my niece will have it to treasure for a very long time. I may even buy her one more just in case she loses this one.

I recommend this one and the others to anyone interested in collecting. Since I am a grandma it was only fitting for me to have this girl. So pretty and well made right down to the embroidery on the dress.

I had been looking for a sweet baby doll for her that was just a classic baby doll, no sounds or movements, but one she had to use her imagination. This doll is perfect for just that! The day it arrived my husband and I gave the doll box to her ( very sweet packaging and tied with ribbon instead of plastic cords) and let her open it, she immediately said "baby!" and gave it kisses and wanted to pull it out and hug the baby doll. She held it tight and immediately took it to nap time with her. It has a very sweet face, reminds me of the vintage porcelain baby dolls. And it is a nice small size for a young toddler. Also it is soft and slightly weighted so you can sit it up and have a tea party or in a doll stroller. The construction seems really good. I don't worry about the head popping off or it falling apart. I already plan to buy another Madame Alexander when the time comes to buy her another play doll.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter just before she turned 2, and a year later it is still her favorite. The body is soft and cuddly, and she still has that sweet vanilla smell that all the Corolle babies have even a year later. My daughter takes it everywhere and sleeps with it. Very durable- ours has even been in the sandbox! Her little dress does come off and is washable. Her face cleans up easily too. We love this brand and are planning on adding Tidoo (the bath doll) to the family this year!

(More customer reviews)My little grand daughter loved this doll and plays with it constantly. It is durable and cuddly. The items that came with it are a bit perplexing. The bottle and the binky do not fit in the dolls mouth but fit in the teddy bears mouth which was frustrating the little girl so we threw them away when the baby was sleeping so she wouldn't get annoyed with them. One wonders if maybe a man designed those items. Anyway, except for those perplexing accessories that came with the doll I loved it and would give it as a gift to another little girl sans the accessories. I bought the pjs as another outfit for the doll and this was no good because it was difficult for even me to put on the doll. Just buy the doll not the rest of the stuff.

She loves it so much that she takes it to bed with her and carries her around most of the day. I would highly recommend this doll to all "little mothers". (More customer reviews)What a sweet little doll. Although, I really don't think this doll measures 12 inches, more like eight or nine, my 3-year-old daughter loves her. She is the perfect little doll for her to carry around, sing to sleep and take care of. My daughter loves her. And, it is so wonderful that she smells lightly of vanilla. Not overwhelming or overpowering at all. Just a wonderful doll. I am going to buy her another corolle doll next, the bigger size.
