McFarlane Toys 6" LOST Series 1 with sound & props - Jack Review

(More customer reviews)A very detailed figure form MacFarlane toys. The base is Polyresin and its heavy and feels solid. I think the figure is some kind of plastic but it feels and looks good and not plasticky at all. The base needs ot be assembled with parts of the debris and the insert points have certain shapes to to whihc pieces fo debris attaches to. Its fun assembling it. The background is cardboard and has unfinished back, so it doesn't look great on a ledge where you can view from both sides. The cardboard is mounted on plastic supports that attaches to the base. I would advise care when assembling. The audio part is a black box that attaches to the base too via the plastic support and this is behind the background cardboard. Needs 2 AAs if I remember it right. There is a small push button that triggers the voice and there are 3 dialogs that play alternately. Attaching the figure to the base was difficult as the attach points are not proprly aligned. I broke the polyresin peg while trying to remove and reattach. Thats the only gripe I have about the product.

We're gonna have a Locke problem and I need to know that you got my back". Packaged in a window display box.

Disney Christmas Stitch Plush wearing Santa Suit Review

(More customer reviews)Because of a pending scheduled hospital stay, we are getting to open many of our Christmas gifts early, in case they may be helpful during the stay (for instance, movies, comfy new pajamas and slippers, books to read after the nurse wakes you up to ask you whether you're asleep), and my son just received this from a friend. Now, I do agree that the price is going to frighten off all but the most diehard Stitch fan, but this is a really, really well made plush, and like 99% of Disney plushes, soft as all get out, stitched and put together perfectly, great in its' colors and material, and stamped as a Disney original. Stitch has his Santa hat and scarf on, and they're just so cute - I am almost embarrassed at this wealth of presents, but we also received the larger one where Stitch, beside the hat and scarf, is also holding a large Christmas ball in his paws. To tell you the truth, if that item had a photo to accompany it (it is on Amazon, but without images), I would tell you to get that one, because it is twice as big and more detailed - but you'd be going on my word that it is the better one for the same price. This is why it's so important that sellers put pics on, if at all possible...amyhow. Needless to say, my son - a Stitch fanatic - is thrilled, and the two toys are guarding our Xmas tree at this moment, and they look very, very impressive. I can't imagine a child or collector not being tickled to pieces by the specific item being reviewed (from what I understand, the one with the Xmas ball is even harder to track down). And so, I just wanted to pass onto other parents who are almost too used to payiung ridiculous prices for a little bit of fluff and material...I'm going to have to say that I thought this one was worth it, and if you can swing the cost, it will be a gift that will probably be taken care of and loved for some time, rather than tossed under the bed a few weeks from now on. Hope this helps someone to decide - Merry Christmas!

When I was little this quickly became one of my favourite television shows. I believe I was around nine or ten years old when this Barbie doll giftset came out. Of course I wanted it, but never received it. Thanks to Ebay I now own it.
This set features Barbie as one of the women aboard the Enterprise, and Ken as Captain Kirk. In the background there is a picture of Doctor Spock.
This set is perfect for the Star Trek fan, or for any Barbie doll collection.

Wonder Pets : Tuck the Turtle 13" Plush Doll Toy Review

(More customer reviews)I have all 3 Wonder Pets in this size. My children LOVE them and they all look just like the characters on the show.
The symbol on the cape is an iron-on, I believe, so I am fairly sure it will start peeling off the first time I put this toy in the washer, so that is disappointing.
Other than that, this toy is very realistic, yet 100% soft, so it gets a ton of play in my house. I would definately recommend it.

So I saw this as a great Christmas chance to get it. One Problem that I found it was slightly expensive for a stuff doll. But you'll surly get your bang for your buck. This kirby is strongly made. No loose strings and everything. It was at a very nice size and it can stand up on it own. To make things even better, the company who distriputed the kirby got it to me in record time. So this kirby is really worth the price.

Barbie Julia Doll Review

(More customer reviews)Mattel should be commended for bringing some diversity to the reproduction line of dolls. Julia is a breath of fresh air to those who once owned her and to those who wished they did! The doll is beautifully constructed in every detail. Of particular note is the highly detailed uniform, exacting in every small way. I would have liked to have seen an additional outfit packaged along with the doll, but that is really a small personal quibble. Once again Mattel has stapled the doll's head to the packing material. This seems like such a dubious practice, even for shipping. Thankfully these staples are easily cut, though it would be better if they were not there in the first place.
Something not mentioned in previous reviews is the wonderful reproduction booklet that accompanies that package. If perusing this doesn't take you back to the lazy days of 70s Barbie play, I don't know what will! Its a lovely extra that will take you down memory lane...and wish everything contained within were still readily available. Its also a great reference material..something that you don't find just anywhere.
Bottom line, if you are looking at this doll and considering her. Buy her. She's worth it!
