Shrek Kung Fu Princess Cinderella Review

I set out to find an action figure as a Christmas present for my 5 year old grandaughter and this is the ONLY one I found. I thought it was sooo cool since there are millions for boys that do just about everything but throw your coffee at you! While she has her beautiful princess gown she can also strip down to her black fighting togs and kick butt (literally since she has the kicking action). We braid her hair back before she sees acton so we can let it down looking nice for the dress ball aftewards.

Marvel Legends Sentinel Series Figure: Black Panther Review

Marvel Legends Sentinel Series Figure: Black Panther

I love this figure. I got the Wonder-Man, which is basically just a head swap from this body, but much prefer my Black Panther. Why, you ask? Better motion in the articulation (no defects, perfect tightness), i like the purplish black paint job, i love the sculpt details (claws on fingers, "talons," on boots, face mask pull around nose.) He poses well, the cape is a great touch, and the included extra, the Sentinel part, is my favorite BAF yet, so no complaints there either. BP represents, y'all.

Pokemon Center Official Nintendo Pokemon Center Plush Stuffed Toy - 6" Arceus Review

Pokemon Center Official Nintendo Pokemon Center Plush Stuffed Toy - 6 Arceus

It is very durable and looks as if it will last for many years to come. I would say that this doll is very durable even enough for a younger kid to play with! The colors match up to how it was colorized in the anime and the video games! Additionally, it looks as if it is better than the other versions of this doll being sold on Amazon! In summary, the only other words I have to say is that this doll is awsome!

I won't lie , Japanese Have some sort of secret for this kind of plushes, This one specifically is really soft, it makes a great gift(well, among those who know about the franchise), It is not to big either, is the perfect size for having it in the car or simply on a shelf, the only bad thing about this little guy that it's fur a bit too white and it's can get dusty easily.

Senario Little Big Planet Brown Sackboy With 4 T-Shirts Review

Senario Little Big Planet Brown Sackboy With 4 T-Shirts
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
A lot of people, myself included, were disappointed with the first stuffed Sackboy came out not too long ago. Quality control was horrible: there were tons of Sackboys out there with one arm or leg longer than the other, heads were lopsided, Sackboy was pretty small, and it didn't come with any accessories...when one of the main features in LittleBigPlanet was customizing Sackboy however you want. Sure, there a few other variations, like ones in girl clothes, a skeleton one, Taiko drummer and the suave afro version, but you couldn't change outfits with one another, and the accessories like the sunglasses were really cheaply made. Now this newer, bigger Sackboy plush is out, and comes with several shirts you can put on it. Unfortunately, things aren't much better this round aside from the size.
Standing at 10 inches tall, Sackboy looks a little better than he did in his smaller form. He's a bit darker than how he appears in the stock picture here, and you can move his arms and legs around. Once again, the zipper doesn't work, and it's plastic instead of metal. The shirts that he comes with are all black with grey trim, and with a big graphic on them. One says 'YEAH!' in red letters, one is a luchador (Mexican wrestler) mask, another is a red fist, and the last is the LBP tree logo in a pink spray painted circle. These easily go on Sackboy, but don't feel like they'll last very long.
That about does it for the good things I can say about Sackboy. All the problems I had with the original return here. The color being too dark is a minor one, but the big problem is how cheaply made he is, and the lack of any quality control efforts. Every Sackboy I've seen in stores have either had one arm a good inch or two longer than the other, a lopsided head from being overstuffed on one side, one eye being much higher up than the other, etc. The material they used to make him is also prone to coming undone, and don't be surprised if your Sackboy has a couple of loose strands after a few weeks of regular use. Expect a lot of fuzz balls on him too. This is exactly the same as the smaller Sackboy, just bigger. I also don't get why all 4 shirts he comes with are all the same color.
Even with all these problems, fans of Sackboy probably won't care, since he's a popular character that people want merchandise of. Just realize that, depending on the retailer, you're going to be spending 3-4 times as much as the smaller version for a bigger one with 4 shirts, but the same lack of quality. If you manage to find one that doesn't have abnormal limbs or an overstuffed head, then you've lucked out, and can add a star to my rating. I still think the only good stuffed Sackboy, aside from the numerous ingenious custom ones I've seen around (especially the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and lion ones), is the promotional Sackboy given out by Media Molecule before the first LBP came out.

Monopoly The Mega Edition Review

Monopoly The Mega Edition
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Warning, this game is NOT made by Hasbro. It is licensed from them and piggy backed on top of an actual monopoly game. Ok, no big deal you think but this does create some problems.
1) The instructions aren't written as a whole they just added the instructions for the new features to the front of the REAL instructions.
2) the cards (Chance and Community chest) weren't updated with the new updates. So, you draw get the card that tells you to pay for building repairs to houses and hotels... but what about skyscrapers? The cards are the standard cards that send you to all the original properties and none of the new. The card which doubles the railroad rent is still there... But, if your opponent has all four railroads AND has a train depot which doubles the rent to $400... then the card doubles that to $800???? (This did happened to me.) Ouch, for a $100 investment in a train depot you just earned more than most hotels earn on the medium to expensive properties. That seems lopsided.
3) The rent on the skyscrapers is in the thousands so paying $15 in poor tax or winning $10 for third place in a beauty contest is completely out of the scope of the new rents (they've included a $1,000 bill) and seems like a complete waste of time. And, there are no new cards which say something like "Won $500 in a state lottery" or something like that.
4) You use 3 die now. The third die is special. It has special squares as well as 1,2, and 3 dots. One of the special squares is "Mr Monopoly" and he is a bonus. But, the instructions tell you to move the number of squares on the other two dice and if you've rolled a Mr Monopoly then you proceed to the next unsold property. This is designed to speed up the acquisition of property... but you still only get $200 for passing go. So, you run out of cash and can't buy them any way. Plus are you supposed to pay rent on the first place you landed after moving the number of spaces on the conventional dice or is it all considered one turn? The instructions don't really specify. If you play it as all one turn then players use "Mr Monopoly" to avoid paying rent and zip right past your skyscrapers to land on the next unowned property. Either way by the end of the game it is usually the expensive green and blue properties that are left unsold so you go wizzing around the board with "Mr Monopoly" until someone finally saves enough money to buy them up and stop the madness.
There are positives...
1)Building shortages... Was this in the old rules (I don't remember)? When players use up all the buildings then you have to wait until some are sold back in order to build.
2) The skyscrapers and train depots are a cool idea and they look cool. They are plastic. I have no problems with plastic. Plastic lasts longer and has the cool little details that the wood blocks wouldn't have (like tiny little shingles on the houses).
3) The bus passes allow you to move forward to any spot on the side of the board you are on. There are a finite number of them and once they are all used then there are no more. Great idea. However, if you play the variant where you put $500 in the center of the board to be collected by someone who lands on free parking then you quickly find people bussing over to free parking to make quick cash...so you'll want to ditch that idea.
4) Additional properties. They added one property to each group (those with 2 now have 3 and those with 3 now have four). They added another utility (gas). So, with 3 out of 4 properties you can build houses and hotels... but you need the fourth property to get skyscrapers. (This, of course does violate the rule of evenly distributed buildings because when you acquire the 4th property you might already have hotels on the other 3 prpoerties.)
Summary: Nice ideas but they just didn't think all of these rule changes thru, nor did they integrate them with the old rules and cards of the game (and actually try it out) to make sure the gameplay was still as fun as the original game.

Ugly Doll Classic Fea Bea, Yellow Review

Ugly Doll Classic Fea Bea, Yellow

Fea Bea or Ugly Stick was a gift my 8 year old nephew wanted for his birthday. He loves it. He hugged it when he opened the package. He already has about three Ugly Dolls and this was another addition. Fea Bea is actually more like 16 1/2" tall instead of 14." It is a cheerful bright yellow and is nice and soft. It can be surface cleaned. It is well made and fairly sturdy as a soft toy. It is a good size as a small pillow so he can put his head on it. Fea Bea is cute and fun. It makes me smile to see these dolls and I know why my nephew likes them so much.
