(More customer reviews)On Location: Milan Barbie is a gorgeous model doll with amazing fashion accessories. Her skin tone is deep, smooth, and beautiful, and her facial features are striking. Though I may not personally agree with the rail-thin size of many models, the model-muse pose on this doll is spot on and very realistic, allowing for much more realistic poses than the straight-arm or "choo choo train" arm Barbies of my youth.
Milan Barbie models her two outfits and 2-piece swimsuit beautifully. The clothes fit surprisingly well and seem well tailored. The linen pants suit is especially glamorous and is striking against her creamy dark skin tone and luscious wavy black hair. One great feature of all the On Location Barbies is that they can easily swap outfits, and Milan Barbie also looks glamorous in South Beach Barbie's and Monte Carlo Barbie's outfits.
The doll box has a large window, so it is easy to pose Milan Barbie inside of her box while still being able to see the details of her outfit. With all of the doll's beautiful accessories and sexy good looks and details, it is hard to believe that this is only a Pink Label Barbie.
The only issue I have with this doll is the same issue I have with many other newer Barbies--their thin size. It is a reflection of modern style trends, however, and if you can get past the skinny size, you have a very stylish, elegant doll on your hands.

(More customer reviews)Top Model Resort Teresa is a gorgeous addition to the "Resort Line". Growing up on Barbie, the blonde was always so gorgeous in my young mind. I love the fact that they make the Top Model Line in not only blonde Barbie, but red head Summer and brunette Teresa.
Her look is very exotic and mysterious! In my opinion her eyes really put the whole look together. The outfits provided are very sleek and sexy (model-like) and of better quality than the norm. I originally purchased these dolls for my daughters but I wish I had just put them on display so they could be appreciated from a distance. Their outfits, shoes and looks shouldn't be tampered with by 5 and 6 year old little hands. Not to mention the occasionaly 2.5 year old boy!
Highly recommend; especially for the purpose of collecting. The stand included is a wonderful addition to put your model on display.

1. The colour of her dress is blue, which the natives never had.
2.At the bottom of her dress, it is ragged and ripped. Natives ALWAYS had there outfit completed.
This isn't the best from her series, but she is sure to make you smile. I would suggest giving some seriouse thought before buying her.

(More customer reviews)Ok, folks will cringe, but my six-year-old picked out this doll to actually play with, because she loved how pretty the Barbie is. Details you can't really see in the pictures: She's got red-painted fingernails and toe-nails, and is wearing pretty high-heeled strappy red sandals. She's also wearing earrings that match the "jewel" on the front of the dress. She comes with a stand. The dress is basically impossible to get off her, though, so if you are getting it for a kid to play with, make sure the kid doesn't expect to dress and undress her. My daughter is OK with that, as she likes her the way she is.

Barbie Collector Dynasty Alexis Doll Review

(More customer reviews)Marvellous, simply marvellous. Who'd though thought that two decades after Alexis plummeted off the balcony with her ex-husband Dex in the last ever episode of Dynasty that we'd, one day, be looking at an Alexis-Barbie?
Clearly only for the adult collector and those of us that remember Dynasty, I doubt that there'll be much pick up from the 'Bratz' camp for this doll (and her nemesis, the saintly Krystle doll) but this is a wonderful addition to any doll collection where 'camp' and 'collectable' are key words.
The packaging is amazing, capturing the essence of the character although she doesn't really look much like Dame Joan Collins. However, it's wonderful to see the sparkly jewellery and abit of leg showing between the parted frock.
I cannot fault this Barbie release, and have to highly commend the manufactures for taking a punt that we'd all buy Alexis (and Krystle). My only question.....I wonder what Joanie makes of it??
