Mcdonald's Glinda the Good Witch 2007 Madame Alexander Wizard of Oz Review

(More customer reviews)Although I don't buy food from McDonalds, I had to get the set of these when they arrived in their Happy Meals. Luckily, I had the option of only buying the dolls (which I did) and they are on display in my house. They are very cute and small, but not very posable, which is why I give them 4 stars.
If you're looking to buy them, I wouldn't go spending $12 on just one when you can get the larger Madame Alexander ones for a bit more.

The Wicked Witch of the West is all scary and dark, in her black taffeta gown trimmed with black braid and worn with a flocked black corset that has eyelets and ribbons. All worn with a black lame cape that sets off perfectly the greeny, green of her witchy "skin". So green it matches her eyes. The Wicked Witch of the West picks up her purse and flings her booted feet over her magic broomstick in her quest to swoop down on the little girl from Kansas.

Even though this is too high priced for the average doll collector, this might be THE doll to splurge on. It looks so vintage, like you oould find it at an antiques shop! The dolls that are offered in most toy stores are not at all what I want for her, so I was pleased to find that Madame Alexander still makes dolls that are pretty. My grandaughter was pleased with her doll. I may make some doll clothes so she can play dressup with her doll.

It smells like baby powder very strongly when you first get it but airs out fairly quickly. Other than the smell which I personally don't care for it is a very cute and very durable doll for my girls.
