(More customer reviews)This family is very adorable. They remind me of Babar (especially the dad) and his family. I keep thinking that in the Cloverleaf Manor they would look just like Babar in those grand French homes when he went to live in the city.
However, I bought these to use in my work as a therapist with kids, whose families that sometimes come from more modest backgrounds, so I will be sticking to the Deluxe Village house for these little guys. I think it looks more like an american home and may be easier to relate to. I can't wait to get sets, decorate their home, and give Calico Critters as gifts to the youngsters I know!

(More customer reviews)The whole collection of Rose Petal Cottage are so cute! And overall well made besides these products. These are cheaply made! Plus the changing table does nothing. To me, Hasbro should make a draw to hold diapers and clothes for the Baby Alive wet and giggles and other Baby Alives. Then it would tie in and market better. Over all I would purchase all the other items that go with the rose petal cottage but would save my money on this item and purchase a different crib set. The crib is very cheaply made and does not come with a blanket or a mat at the bottom so you can see the cheap plastic at the bottom. Both me and a friend are reselling ours. Don't waiste your money!

Calico Critters Triple Baby Bunk Beds Review

(More customer reviews)The Calico Critters Triple Baby Bunk Beds are a great choice if you have Calico Critters babies.
The set comes with 3 beds - 1 pink, 1 yellow and 1 blue. Each white plastic bed has a matching mattress/pillow pad and colored bedknobs. The head and foot boards are scalloped with little dot indents below the scallops. The sides also have a scallop and dot design - it's really cute. The pink bed has a tulip cutout on the headboard and a pink tulip design printed on the footboard. Likewise, the yellow bed has a duck cut out and yellow duck design, and the blue bed has a fish cut out and blue fish design on the footboard. The beds can be stacked 3 high, separated, or set up with 2 beds on the bottom (a little ways apart) and the 3rd bed on top, 2 legs on each bottom bed. The set also includes 2 small ladders, that hook onto the side of the beds. These beds are small, about 3" by 2" and 1 1/2" high. When stacked, there is about 1 1/4 inches between.
My girls have a bunch of Critter babies, and they chose to buy these beds with their own money. They have not been disappointed. I like the beds because they fit 3 babies, and don't take up too much space - if the beds are stacked they will fit into most of our dollhouse bedrooms along with a regular bedroom set. I don't like the beds because they are too specific - the only toys that fit into these beds are the CC babies. The beds are just a little too small for the regular Calico Critters boys and girls, and way too small for Polly Pockets, or any of the other figures my girls play with in their dollhouses.
Bottom Line - fun if you have Critter Babies, and plenty of beds for your other dollhouse figures. If not, buy the regular Calico Critters Bunk Beds instead.

(More customer reviews)At our house we love Plan Toys because they are durable and lead paint free! This set is a cute addition to our Terrace dollhouse. The purple is really cute. My one gripe is the little side tables that are attached to the bed. They come off very easily and could get lost. But I am learning that is kind of how dollhouse furniture is, it is detailed and small. I'm going to have to keep it out of the mouth of my soon to be mobile 5 month old. I digress. We love the Plan Toys furniture. It is unbelievably sturdy and well made. It is worth every penny of $[...] for one set. It is solid and cute! And your momma dolls and daddy dolls are going to need a bed!

We had bought it as a cute decoration for her room but around 10 mos she insisted that we hoist it down from the shelf and let her have a go at it. After removing the smallest pieces, we've been pleased at how durable the house has been with her daily use. I ordered the family for her, and she has seemed to enjoy them. I had to remove the necklace off of the mom since it was very small, but then again my daughter is far below the recommended age for this toy. The people are fun and a little funky, which is nice to see. I remember my dollhouse family as a kid being very stodgy and traditional -- nice change!

(More customer reviews)Every time I let my daughter pick a set of Calico Critters, she surprises me. With all the cute "girly" sets, I never thought she would have picked this out. Boy was I wrong...again. She absolutely loves this set and picked it over all the other sets. Even the larger (more expensive) sets were overlooked for this one. She can't get enough of playing dentist and making sure all her Critters' "teeth" are clean. The beavers are a great animal for this set because they actually have teeth:-) After having it for a few days, it dawned on me that there are not many toys on the market that help kids role play a trip to the dentist. That in itself makes this toy worth getting! My daughter originally had anxiety about going to the dentist, but now she is excited to make the trip! Calico Critters are great quality toys. We would recommend this set!

The pieces are very durable and realistic, and when she is in the innovative mode, she comes up with some pretty practical ideas in her toy kitchen. She watches her mom cook and clean her kitchen, and with these pieces, she is able to emulate the real thing.
They are very well made, so I don't look for them to wear out any time soon even with the heavy usage they get from her.
Would definitely recommend these to others with toddlers. Really good learning pieces in addition to being lots of fun.

(More customer reviews)We bought the vegetable garden set for my son, to accompany the Plan Toys First Dollhouse. It arrived quickly and is adorable. I love not having to worry about toxic paint and am happy to get away from plastic toys. The only bit of plastic in the set is the blade of the shovel. Also, the wheelbarrow tires move. At almost $20 it's a little pricey but I'm sure it will get a lot of use.

(More customer reviews)I love these dolls, but they are actually a wee big for some of the furniture in the Plan Toys Chalet. My only real complaint is the clothing. My daughter tries to dress and undress them, which is not something I recommend. The little girl's skirt is so wide it falls down, so the shirt really keeps it on. However, the shirt is made out of such cheap material that the side seams ripped the first time my daughter took it off the doll. The belts were almost immediately pulled off and lost. My daughter is not really the destructive type. It seems natural that small children would try to dress and undress the dolls, but it really does destroy the clothing.

I am deeply disappointed in this family. 1) The Baby is disproportionate to the parents, 2) they do not bend easily, 3) they can't sit down on the dollhouse furniture, 4) Their clothing is not removable and therefore cannot be changed, 5) they are unable to hold the baby, and 6) they are too big for my dollhouse (a six room victorian).
