This charging station is a welcomed addition for our Thomas Table. It fits in nicely with the Thomas Trains and Plan cars.
I would not recommend this toy for children under the age of 3 or any child who likes to put toys in his/her mouth. My only complaint with Plan Toys is their size... they are a choking hazard.

The castle has so many interesting features: a door that opens and closes, a bug and little man that slide along ropes, trees that rustle, a chicken that hides in a pocket, mirrored windows, and one see-through window. The princess and knight will be great for pretend play as my son gets older, and he thinks the dragon is great! He makes a unique rattling noise when shaken, and his head and tail wobble back and forth. My son would have enjoyed this toy earlier than 12 months, and I know it will be played with throughout his toddler years. A fantastic toy for creative play.
***Update: Now my son is almost 3 and we play with this castle frequently. The dragon often chases the princess and knight into their castle; however, when he is feeling nice, the dragon offers them rides on his back. This is a wonderful toy for pretending! My son is developing a fascination with things that verge on "scary" (dragons, ghosts, wolves, dinosaurs), and this toy allows him to create pretend scenarios that explore a slightly darker theme with such happy little characters - so appropriate and not-too-scary for a young preschooler.

My one gripe is the little side tables that are attached to the bed. They come off very easily and could get lost. But I am learning that is kind of how dollhouse furniture is, it is detailed and small. I'm going to have to keep it out of the mouth of my soon to be mobile 5 month old. I digress. We love the Plan Toys furniture. It is unbelievably sturdy and well made. It is worth every penny of $[...] for one set. It is solid and cute! And your momma dolls and daddy dolls are going to need a bed!
