I liked it because it was wooden and seemed more substantial than many of the other sets I had seen. Their mother says they love it! She says they pretend to have tea all day long, and the set features realistic tea bags, which are not pictured in the photo here.

(More customer reviews)At our house we love Plan Toys because they are durable and lead paint free! This set is a cute addition to our Terrace dollhouse. The purple is really cute. My one gripe is the little side tables that are attached to the bed. They come off very easily and could get lost. But I am learning that is kind of how dollhouse furniture is, it is detailed and small. I'm going to have to keep it out of the mouth of my soon to be mobile 5 month old. I digress. We love the Plan Toys furniture. It is unbelievably sturdy and well made. It is worth every penny of $[...] for one set. It is solid and cute! And your momma dolls and daddy dolls are going to need a bed!

Haba Nelly Soft Doll - 12 inches tall Review

(More customer reviews)I've gotten this doll for my granddaughter's first Christmas. I am ever so pleased with the quality of workmanship. The facial features are stitched on, she's soft and huggable, just the right size for our little girl, the hair is not yarn, and this doll has no plastic or vinyl on her.
I do have a concern about the laces on the shoes for a child so young, but my daughter assures me that they will be removed and not used until our granddaughter is of an age that they will not longer pose a danger.
I am not purchasing additional clothing for her (although I love the clothing that could be purchased) because I remember that my children's dolls mostly went around naked for quite a while when my girls were little, and I feel it would be better to wait until the dolls stay clothed before making that purchase.
I do recommend this doll. She's just right for us. I can hardly wait for Christmas!

(More customer reviews)This was a gift for my daughter's 4th birthday. This set is well made, solid wood, and non-toxic materials. Even the packaging was completely recyclable.....love it. She's having fun playing with it and adding it to our group of fun play items. I keep parts from getting lost by storing the set in a little basket. Tiny parts, so don't get it for a child that still wants to put things in their mouths. But not too small for a preschooler and older to enjoy.
