Flitter Fairies Aerioth (Cave Fairy) Review

My daughter LOVES her flitter fairy. It was her favorite toy that she received for Christmas. I was a little disappointed with how loud it is when her wings flap (when she is on) but my kiddo did not seem to mind at all. The pixie silk DOES get tangled and break very easily, but you can buy extra. Overall- a very cool and unique toy!

Meet Aerioth, a beautiful Flitter Fairy! Guardian of the caves of Evernaught, Aerioth illuminates her path with a glowing lumastone. Follow her into the cave, and direct her with your magic wand. She will move in any direction you want, as if by pure enchantment! Each time she flaps her wings, her lumastone will guide the way, so she's perfect for playing in dark rooms. You simply won't believe your eyes when you see this flitter fairy gliding around in mid air!Parents, want to know the secret? Each flitter fairy is attached to a transparent pixie silk string, so it appears as if she's really flying. Wings are battery operated (batteries included). Each fairy comes with 8 additional pixie strings.Availability: This Aerioth Flitter Fairy takes approximately 1 business day to leave the warehouse plus transit time.

LEGO Atlantis Gateway of the Squid (8061) Review

LEGO Atlantis Gateway of the Squid (8061)

My 7 year old and I built this together. He loved the hidden traps and swinging gates. It seems to have more moving parts than I am used to in lego sets (I always thought of bionicles as having the contraptions rather than lego sets) but in spite of having so many moving parts it seems durable. Plus the Atlantis series characters are really fun.

I bought this doll as a birthday present for my 2 year old niece, and it was a very beautiful doll, with bright red yarn hair, well made -- she even had a little scar from where Madeleine had her appendix out! My sister-in-law said she thought the doll was very beautiful, too.
