(More customer reviews)I purchased this toy for my 2 year old. She absolutely loves it (as does my 8 month old and my 3 year old). All three of them use it differently, exploring the pieces (they are very smooth) and the different ways to stack them. They love that the base rocks, making the tree slightly unstable for stacking. The quality of the toy is excellent, making the Melissa and Doug stacking toys seem cheap. This toy will easily be passed along to cousins and younger children as mine grow older. Likely, no one will realize the toy's age.

(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for my daughter. Cute but.... You get what you pay for. The item is listed at $9.00. That is exacly what the item is worth. It is cute but the magnets on the back could fall out easily. Ours has not been played with enough yet for this to happen but still you want to be aware of it. It is not your typical wood dress up doll. Kind of cheeply made. There are better safer ones out there like the Shure products. Those are great particularly the Pocket dolls and mini pocket dolls. The magnetic dress up puzzle princess is great too.

(More customer reviews)This puzzle is pretty hard for one with only 43 pieces! It took a little while of just studying the pieces to even get started because they are clear, so you do not really know at first how to orient them. Also, there was no solution included in the box. The pieces are numbered, but the numbers do not indicate how they go together. That is, piece 1 does not snap into piece 2. However, I did find a video solution to a similar puzzle on You Tube and that helped me get started. Once started, it became much easier. I also used some clear tape to hold the puzzle together while I worked. This allowed me to easily turn the puzzle in different directions to work on it and also to put it down for a short break. I bought this for a 14 year old who is very good at puzzles and really enjoys them. It would be great for an older teen or adult who enjoys a challenging and pretty puzzle. The pieces fit together well enough and the finished product is pretty enough that you might enjoy displaying it on the included stand.

Sometimes he does it twice in one morning! The colorful jungle scene is very interesting! My son asks me about animals and plants on the puzzle and he is thrilled to learn new facts about them!

(More customer reviews)Great concept, but I was disappointed to find that the shapes are plain wood with colored paper on just the front, rather than painted wood all the way around. One or two mouthings and the paper started wearing off within the first day! I generally really like M&D products, so was sorry this one wasn't more durable. I'll probably only buy these in stores in the future where I can examine the quality more easily before I buy.

(More customer reviews)Though I never saw the puzzle out of the box (it was a pretty picture on the box), it was a huge hit with my elderly grandmother last Christmas. She struggles with arthritis and failing eyesight, so the large pieces are perfect for her. She used to be an avid puzzle enthusiast, but can no longer handle all the tiny pieces and difficult-to-make-out pictures. She's asked for another puzzle like this.
