(More customer reviews)We are very satisfied with the Princess Lacey/Kathleen Doll. She is very adorable. Her dress is pretty and her face is cute, but her hard/solid body mold was unexpected to my daughter. My initial thought was that the platform was a stand that she (the doll) would spin upon. Instead, there is a cylindrical wheel at the bottom of her foot, which allows her to spin once the motor on the stand "winds" it to its highest velocity (if you wind it for thirty seconds). This doll was much more fun than we had expected! She loves her Princess Lacey doll. Thank you!

Garnet Glitterbella - Special Edition Review

(More customer reviews)This doll is absolutely gorgeous. This picture doesn't do it justice. I was kind of bummed that it cost more than most of the other Groovy Girl dolls but bought it anyway because my daughter loves ballerinas and princesses and this one is both. The doll arrived today and it is just so pretty. The dress is really nice and sparkles, so do her accessories. The hair is strands of white, garnet and brown yarn and the top part is tied up with ribbon (there's a bow in the back). Her tights match the detail on her purse and the purse is actually open. Obviously it won't hold much but my daughter loves to put things in purses (she's 4). I'm sure this will be her absolute favorite Christmas gift this year. It was well worth the extra money.
Her eyes are a light bluish green, which doesn't match anything but whatever. I figure it will hold up well except the choker/necklace will probably be destroyed at some point by one of my kids but the doll itself looks like it can "survive", possibly the dress too.

Barbie Purple Ballerina Doll Review

Any little girl who loves dolls-- and virtually all of them do-- will love this doll, too. The most helpful information I can give, however, is that this doll sells for $5 at your local Wally World.

The girl shows the 5 positions, and does a little dancing, which my daughter thought was really cool. She's already copying the steps! :)

Ballerina Doll Making Kit Review

(More customer reviews)My 6 year old daughter received this kit as a gift and as she opened the box and dumped out the contents I was thinking "oh no, I am going to have to do this...." but she spent the better part of an afternoon following the great instructions and completed the project, 100% ON HER OWN. She has played with her doll creation, non-stop, for the past two days (and she is not usually "into" dolls). The glue is great and really keeps everything intact, though I'm sure a touch-up here and there with a glue gun may eventually be needed if she is playing with the doll all day, everyday. I definitely recommend this product for a child who is able to read/follow instructions, has patience( you do have to glue things together), and likes to create things.
On another note, my 4 year old received the fairy version of the same kit and my 6 year old and I decided we had better help sister "finish" her doll. Now they each have one to play with.

(More customer reviews)I guess I should've read the dimensions in the description, because I was very surprised to see how small this toy actually was. Despite its size, my children loved playing with this toy. It is a fine toy for independent play, but unfortuantely, because it only has the one surface to display the bear on, it was not long before we had a fight on our hands. I will tell you that the best aspect of this toy, is that it offers a new method of explaining "feelings" to a young child. The happy, sad, mad, and sick faces were a fun new way to teach my little ones.
